Yep, tbh i would never trade a first for those guys but maybe someone will bite, Pelicans or other desperate teams scared to lose other targets...

Barbosa and Dudley would be great gets........a rebounding/shot blocking big body would be great also... The first 2 should be easy enough......a big, not so sure.........unless there is some d-league/euro player out there...

90% of denvers roster complains about mins. And Nurkic would eventually have started if he was on the rockets. People don't even realize how talented Nurkic really is. He is damn good. Better than capela as of now. Capela needs to put about 20-30lbs more of muscle.

No he doesn't. Once he does he will lose his agility, speed and athleticism to jump so high.

It will cause more strain on his joints.

It would be a Morey-like move. Then he would pick up a player off the streets as deep backup to wings/center.

Is Eric Moreland available to sign? I don't think his rights are owned but I wasn't sure how that worked.

He's healthy and playing nkw, could be a great pick up. Long, rebounds, and got range.

I agree that Nurkic is more skilled that Capela, but he is not a better fit for the MDA system. As I would prefer Jahlil Okafor as a Houston center the historical rumors linked Houston to Noel.

i think capela, nene, and harrell are sufficient because all 3 get playing time and contribute in their own right. i don't think center is a glaring need as much as the 3 or a 1. off the bench, we need a suitable replacement for ariza/harden/patbev.

if i'm morey, i'm a little iffy on gordon's health to rely on him in the long run. it's beating a dead horse, but i really wish i could hear what kind of offer phoenix would want for dudley/barbosa.

    Corey Brewer
    KJ McDaniels
    1st

    for

    Robin Lopez
    and 2 2nd rounders

Robin is 28 and plays good defense, gets rebounds. Also he has excellent mascot relationships around the league. Either way, trade machine says it works.

While I would prefer Houston to make a trade for Ibaka, from the sound of things, that may be costly for the assets we do have and for the chemistry of the team. A trade type that I think Houston is looking at is something like this.

    Houston gets
    Noel
    Illyasova

    Sixers get
    Ennis
    Brewer
    Harrell
    1st round pick

It works cap-wise Philly gets a wing, a point guard with a pass first mentality and a 1st round pick. Houston gets Noel who is an upgrade over Capela and is also depth for our center position. IIyasova allows Anderson to miss games and not have to start Br as our power forward. He also provides depth off the bench. If the team is constructed like this I would then sign Mario Chalmers. Upgrade shooting and defense without breaking up team chemistry much.

I like this deal, but does Houston need to add a 1st? Then Chicago could go after Okafor as some report.

Portland may/ probably could go after Jimmy Butler w/some of those 3 (1st rd) picks...moving Crabbe or others to Bulls.
I could see Ibaka in play for Portland (UFA status would be a concern).

I'm going to have to disagree. He is very skinny. He would likely still be skinny even with 30lbs more of muscle. I almost guarantee you wouldn't be able to even tell if he gained the mass because of how tall he is. Probably terrible comparison but shaq was one of the heaviest and athletic/explosive big men of all time. Not saying capela will be shaq but the muscle can only help him. His position requires strength rather than speed.

That 1st round pick is earmarked for anyone willing to take Brewer's contract off our hands.

Noel deal is losing steam. He's probably staying with jah leaving and embiid jacked up.

Codman, I hope we're not down to Koufas. He's not good enough. Splitter? Boban? Chandler, if he non-guarantees future seasons?

I see no great options if Miami doesn't shut it down.

Yeah but Chicago is desperate to move Robin according to reports.....so they can get Okafor.

On another note....Cavs are asking for a second opinion on K Love's knee according to realGM.com.
You don't ask for a second opinion after getting a good result.

Home-fries... you know more than me. I'm not about to try to say anything other than "I made up this idea after reading a tweet". But I will say this, if they need another first to get okafor and we can get Lopez as an afterthought for it, I'm game. Lopez is dirty. He does everything that makes the game flow in your direction. Easy cheap points. Finishes dunks. Rebounds. Puts his body and hands up in the lane. He's a really good fit in my imagination, but my imagination isn't what matters in the end.

If you want rebounds and blocks then we should sign H-Town's own Eric Moreland. He's had bad luck with injuries and has gotten caught up in the numbers game. He's got an NBA body and NBA talent, could be another Whiteside. I think this guy would kill in D'Antoni's system especially when we go small and Harden pick and roll.

I know little, and the last thing I want to do is rain on your parade. I never wish to discourage anyone from posting.

I love the blocks per game of Robin Lopez 1.5 in about 28 mins. That's what I wanted from Tyson Chandler, but fail to get. I believe the Blazers are a poorer team since Lopez departed.

Thing is, I think the Bulls want expiring contracts or non-guaranteed contracts in return for Robin w/good
potential products like Dekker or Harrell. Ennis contract disappears easily enough. KJ contract is team
option controlled this summer so that one is good for another team. Brewer not so much.

I read somewhere on the internet that Brewer can be bought-out after this season just shy of $4 mil vs the cap. Don't quote me on that though. @BimaThug would know more on that matter. As @Tha_Dude once said, "just go with it." It's possible they want Brewer.
They have non-shooting 3 guys in D-Wade and Rondo....maybe they want 2 more in KJ & Brewer.
