I wish the writers of this show would stop it with the cheap tactics like Glenn's perceived death with the camera angle and now the bullet in the bat. I am sure there are probably more examples.
What really bothers me is that Daryl -- the most study of all the men -- appears to be the only man alive to have not had sex since the outbreak (600 days) ... other than Eugene. That just doesn't add up.
Dude... He's totally sleeping w/ Maggie, Carol, and Rick. I threw Maggie in there since that would be some more drama w/ Glenn that was missed out on... But on a more serious note, did you see the embrace Rick and Daryl had, it's clear Rick is divorcing Michonne when she gets back. This show will soon be a daytime soap opera focusing on the lives of the retired baseball player Negan, the copper Rick, and bad boy Daryl. I can't wait for Jesus to let Daryl know that Rick already tried to seduce Eric or whatever his name was on the boat...
In addition to this. Zombies from the original outbreak should be decomposed to nothing but bones by now... right?
It'd be pretty rapid though..., like if they were actually decaying and since they're in a warm area there really wouldn't be much of a show regarding hordes of zombies after a few days even... Pretty interesting thought though, and the show isn't following cell autolysis/bacteria/maggots etc. even, I mean the body literally destroys itself in days, sure some remnants might last but like you mention they'd be a non-functional threat in a warm climate in days or less with vultures. Lol, it makes you wonder why the cdc guy didn't just wait it out... Haha, obviously the show doesn't follow basic biology/science but that'd be an interesting take. Weeks of apocalypse/chaos to rotting corpses (if that). I want a realistic zombie movie. Haha Interesting articles: http://www.exploreforensics.co.uk/the-rate-of-decay-in-a-corpse.html http://www.enkivillage.com/how-long-does-it-take-for-a-body-to-decompose.html @FishBulb913
I'm rewatching inglorious Bastards right now and have a question, which has probably been asked before Who came first -- comic book Negan or the Bear Jew
why does a shtty show need a 2 month break? to figure out how to make the show more shttier? this willbe the last season i watch one ep at a time. im gonna marathon them after this. it'll bee..easy peasy lemon squeezy! they should at least have negan say that before he kills someone with his bat. take advantage of how shtty their show is and use more comedy "well la dee daa. look-ee here. did glenn just try to attack me? this is gonna be...EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY!"
Another baby steps setup episode for the next episode...which will be another baby steps setup episode for the next...until we get to the finale when something of substance finally happens. This is definitely a binge watch show for those that can't put up with long spells of "not much". One thing I was wrong about...I thought for sure the last five minutes was going to be Daryl running while flailing his arms in the air in another Carol reunion brought to you by King Zeke. I guess they are saving that for another "Carol saves the day" moment. Interesting that Morgan basically lied to the crew about Carol's whereabouts (oh...she took off...she's gone!). Want to see: Rick and Morgan fight .
I liked the episode except for 1) Rick donning Glenn's plot armor to run through a herd of walkers only to end up with a shoulder massage 2) the physics defying car-cable clothesline thing. Strangely enough the whole "Kingdom" thing going full-derp with everyone acting like it is a renaissance faire is now charming to me.
eh.. the whole "your majesty" and other renaissance stuff totally ruined it for me. I thought it was really annoying, and started to wonder why Negan has just taken over these pansies. The show has had a pretty serious / realistic tone for the most part and then you bring in the Kingdom with the fantasy side of things. It feels like a complete joke
So TWD is turning into the Renaissance Fair and your cool with it... I totally get it Here's a sneak peak of the Kingdom readying their men for battle against the Saviors:
