When your phone autocorrects to "Rubio", you might have a problem. ;)

I could see, if any team were stupid---er, nice---enough to take on what's left of Brewer's contract, we'd have to sweeten the pot for said team. Maybe throw in some of the money we're allowed to use to grease transactions. It used to be 3 million but that might have dropped; I'm losing track of these things.

As far as trade value for ibaka, it is nowhere close to his value as a player. Expiring contracts don't have the value they use to in prior years. No team will give up their future for a rental player they have no chance of resigning. Orlando has to recoup some of there inevitable loss from the ibaka deal. He will be moved and not for what he is worth as a player.

No new report here. But if you want to see what Ibaka would look like as a Rocket...

I'm more interested in seeing the back of the uniform. You know, so we can see the gold tag.

Does that tag tell us how old Ibaka is?

I'm not including Harrell in a trade for him.

I think Harrell is going to be traded. We rested Nene tonight to give him minutes and increase his value. Here we come, Serge!

I love Trez (and i hope he stays here as much as possible), but i think you should trade him IF you don't think he can develop a good outside shot...because if that's the case, it means he'll never be more than a good bench player anyway.

Yeah, as good as ibaka has played during our game against him in this system how much benefit would he bring over rookie salaried Capela/Trez and minimum Nene?

Is it a 20M difference? I dont think so, sure trading for him means you can go over the salary cap to resign him but if we allocate our cap for a guy like Evan fournier, Batum or Wilson Chandler level of player I think it will produce more wins than getting Ibaka. Ibaka isnt a big guy like say Marc Gasol, Ibaka will struggle against true centers just likenCapela and Trez have done.

Rather than playing him C it might be better to trade Anderson for him. Anderson is the superior shooter but Ibaka is better at everything else, I dont see a problem with Ibaka hitting 3s at 37% or so and u'll take the 3% dip in 3 pt shooting if it means more varied scoring, better passing, def and rebounding. In the playoffs Anderson will get murdered by star Pfs like Blake Griffin and LMA, they would score all over his ass and him taking them out of the defense isnt a big deal because thise guys arent defensive juggernauts anyway. Its like when an opponent sucks Harden out of the defense you're like w/e.

I wouldnt give them Dekker and Harrell... you get one or the other along with Brewer or KJ and a draft pick.

Same here, in fact i'm not even sure about Trez along with picks...i think the best package i would trade is basically 1st, Trez, KJ, Brewer, Ennis if i can also get back Hezonja...maybe add a (late) 2nd rounder but that's it.
