Charles Oakley Accused Of Bitting, Spitting Security Guards

Charles Oakley, one of the toughest men to play in the NBA, is facing a lawsuit for a number of dirty casino fouls.

The 1990s Knicks star originally filed a lawsuit against the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, claiming a group beatdown at the hands of five security guards in May of 2010.

Those security officers have responded with a detailed countersuit against Oakley, claiming he's attacked casino workers at least three times over the past six years, only to avoid arrest because of his VIP status.

Vegas Inc., reports the security detailed the incidents, which included one involving current Celtics forward Jermaine O'Neal at the Liqued pool at Aria.

Oakley is accused of getting in a scuffle when told he couldn't invite additional females into the pool, since it was near closing time.

The effect took some years to overtake the glorious aura of the championships. :p Anyway, blaming the design was a joke.

The lean years refers to the time toward the end of the century when Hakeem started to decline sharply and before we got Yao and TMac. That was a pretty long stretch of futile time in franchise history. The bad design kind of accentuated the futility.

Oakley on ESPN-NY Radio said, "I want to say I’m sorry to all the fans of the Garden. I never want to be a troublemaker in life."

Oakley, on ESPN radio, said he never said anything to Dolan - didn't even know he was there in front of him.

Charles Oakley tells Stephen A. Smith says he didn't say anything to Knicks owner James Dolan while sitting near him at MSG last night.

Oakley on ESPN Radio on confrontations: "One guy, try your luck. Eight, nine guys, I have to brace myself and be ready for the challenge."

Charles Oakley tells Stephen A. Smith that he's heard from MSG employees told him James Dolan must be informed when he's at MSG.

Charles Oakley says he doesn't have "beef" with James Dolan: "I'm not going to argue with James Dolan. I don't have beef. I've been trying to meet with him for five years. He don't have to like me... I feel sorry for the fans."

Charles Oakley says on ESPN Radio that he's been followed by MSG security during previous trips to the arena.

Charles Oakley says on ESPN Radio that Michael Jordan called to check on him after the incident at MSG last night.

Oakley says he still would like to sit down and work things out with James Dolan.

Charles Oakley says the Knicks' statement saying that "we hope he gets some help soon" was like a "smack in the face." "That is another smack in the face like the security guard came over to tell me to leave," Oakley said. "They want to be cute with the statements. It's cool. They want to say that and be all harsh with things, I can deal with it... I don't want to go to the Garden if this keeps happening (where) someone keeps watching over me."

"Arresting Charles Oakley at the Garden is like arresting the pope at The Vatican."

The Knicks PR team needs to get fired immediately. It's the second huge blunder this season.

Spicer should hire that Knicks PR person who's having to deal with Dolan.

the side who resorts to public, naming-calling from the start and pulls the "pure fiction"/"lie" card is usually the side of alternative facts.

One can only hope that SNL makes a skit out of this.

As a stadium security guard... I would rather face up to Jeff Van Gundy than Charles Oakley...

Their power forward in the 90s is known for starting fights and getting arrested.

Our power forward is known to be a complete class act who works hard and is friendly to everyone

I understand not wanting to be touched but MSG is a private area and if the owner wants you out, you can't just stay there. Sue them later but if you don't move they're gonna touch you
