Please win this one, Rockets. You're rested. The Hornets are a mediocre ballclub. And the Jazz are breathing down your neck for the 3rd seed. Get this and you've got a very good shot at a 5-game winning streak heading into the break(assuming Miami is just on a hot streak).

New option added to the poll:

    a. Tarp game.
    b. Schedule loss.
    c. Boring game.
    d. Rockets "L", they were rusty because they got fat and hungry and lazy.

Nothing comes easily. Put in the hard work on D and rebounding. That's the way to slow down the runs the other teams are coming up with.
We can't outshoot the opposing team
    every time.
    Go Houston Rockets!

Gordon saw an ESPN projection for number of games he was on pace to play a few weeks ago and was like "Nah, gonna need to sit a few out."

Can we rely on Gordon in the playoffs? I'm starting to think no. This is why we need to add another playmaker for our bench.

I am starting to get a little worried. I thought the problem before was the grueling schedule, but he had 3 days off between the Bulls and Magic games and this isn't a B2B. I guess the good news is he's got a long break coming up(aside from the 3-point shootout), and the post-All-Star Weekend schedule is much lighter. The downside is it looks like this may be a lingering issue the rest of the year regardless of how much rest he gets.

EDIT: One other thing I forgot to mention is that an increasing number of missed games could cost him 6th Man of the Year. Granted he's only missed 4 out of 55 games thus far, but Lou Williams has only missed 1 out of 55, has started fewer games, and is averaging more PPG. It ain't a done deal just yet.

Gordon most likely won't play. Hopefully it doesn't matter but we need a trade.

I actually think you can. He just needs to go in healthy like he has been most of the season. Nene is the real question, can we rely on him, because I think he will either get hurt or be too old soon.

Man it is frustrating to hear that Gordon might be out again. I mean, this is who he is. We just have to accept it. (and throw up our hands). But it is frustrating because he is so important to the machinations of the offense.

Morey absolutely has to get a combo-guard at the trade deadline. We just can't count on health with Gordon and Beverley and their contributions are just to vital to the team's success. Brewer, KJ, Ennis, Brown...just not good enough.
