Okafor next to Davis? Not sure that's going to work but we'll see.

I guess the Sixers are not going to sell low on Noel at this point, and i kinda expected this tbh, Embiid is amazing but you have to wonder if/how they trust his foot...if the guy goes down again they better keep Noel since he's a better fit with Simmons and probably in this nba in general. Will be interesting to see if they'll trade him at all.

Just can't believe NOLA wants to trade for potential starting C is playing AD at the 5 is best for the team short and long term. But, this may be AD telling coach and the FO that he wishing to stop playing C, and as the superstar he has all the control.

Also, PHI needs to get top 5 or top 10 protection on NOLA pick because I feel they may tank or just be very bad and end up in the lottery easily this and even afterwards depending on how much trust you can put on the FO to build a playoff caliber team.

i swear philly is the worst nba franchise ever. you trade away jrue just to want him back. you already have 2 solid pg's refused and refused to resign one of the better pg's in the league ish smith for cheap af for what he does. terrible gm and owner. I feel so bad for philly fans.

I think Davis should be the first to ask for a guy like Noel more than a Okafor if that's the case since:

    1. Okafor is going to take away the ball for him more
    2. Okafor is not going to help him against bigger centers at all

I'm not sure Davis is having a word here...i mean, this is not the player you want to trade for if you want someone to bang in the paint in your place... and maybe without taking away the ball from your hands.

Anthony Davis should be telling his coach & GM I want out of here.

    Pelicans aren't building towards ****.

True, but I think PHI has decided to keep Noel over Okafor because of his overall fit and ability to step in for Embiid if he is out. Okafor sucks in that role.

Curious, would you trade Holiday for Efrid Payton and Noel right now. That is the result of that draft day trade. Seems like a push to me and probably not worth it when you have Davis, and wanted a PG. Also, Philly seems like they want Jru back right now to play with Embiid.

But I agree. NOLA does act like they are throwing things at the wall each year hoping to convince Davis to stick with them.

Davis is the second most overrated player in the league.

Yep definitely, i just don't understand why Okafor, i mean, i think he's one of the worst possible fits with Davis if you want to build a legit team...they should trade for a guy like Chandler, or Bogut (who already played for Gentry in GS)...maybe they don't want guys over 30 but still, difficult to understand what they're doing.

Once he shakes off the rust and puts AD and Okafor on the bench, yule c who the real "awkward" one is!

If I'm PHI, I would demand NOLA's pick straight up or top 5 protected in the Okafor trade. I don't trust NOLA to win and barely miss the playoffs after barely beating the worst team in the West.
