glad they won this game. Going out on another loss after the loss of the hawks with no game until Tuesday would've sucked.
2 min report should be good all that matters to me is the replay center missed a call and the 2 min report will show they clearly did
Have we paused to discuss the kickball situation? The one where we did not kick the ball? That really was an insult to the integrity of the game. Seems like it deserves it's own thread.
First time seeing this replay. Can't argue that it could have hurt MCW, it wasn't a sportsmanship move that's for sure.
bro have you ever played basketball? That move was not going to hurt anybody harden fell slower than a snail. I've made that same move on a pump fake where the defende tried to block me and because we both play basketball and I realized he was going to bust his ass I stopped going up for the layup and let him catch himself on the fall. this has happened multiple times. i think it happen The point is harden wasn't hurting anybody with that move.
Harden's got the TO thing down. Doesn't need to do it on Yao Ming day. Does it every other day already
Really glad that the Rockets didn't give up either time after Chicago captured the lead. Yao Ming at halftime was great. It's awesome that the Rockets could get a win. We needed it.
The Toyota Center was pumped on those defense chance at the end probably the loudest it's been all year
Why is MCW letting Harden mount him in the first place? What kind of defense is that when the player you're guarding is getting the ball 99.9% of the time.
Go away. You poison this site because you don't put the Rockets first. Joomba is a better fan than you.
Don't give me that s h i t. I've played basketball a ton. Harden has like 30-40 pounds on MCW and the way they landed on the ground could have easily resulted in MCW sustaining an injury to his back.
On the Harden/MCW pile up. If you've played basketball, you know that if you are standing flat-footed and holding your position, someone could technically back in to your lower legs and take you right off your feet. Also, a player has a right to stand stationary in a place and hold his position. The opposing player has no right to simply 'shove' him off his feet and out of the way. (see charging foul) One can't simply take both hands like a football lineman and drive the opposing players out of position to clear the lane or any other play (well except for players named Draymond) This play wasn't initiated by James 'jumping' on his back and wrestling him down. Rather the play was initiated by MCW pushing backwards into his position and taking him off his feet. But seeing the contact was initiated by the defender pushing into his 'space'. It seemed to be the right call
It's good the Rockets won but they will easily be out in either the first or second round. They might win 52 to 54 games this season but they will still need to improve the team and for goodness sakes, drive to the basket or shoot a midrange jumper when the three isn't falling. They are lucky they won last night because the Rockets should have won the game without going to overtime.
