I bumped into Michael Carter Williams in downtown Houston earlier and asked for a quick picture and he just brushed me off. Lol what a scrub.
You could say that about a lot of teams without their star player. What did the Cavs accomplish while that LeBron guy was gone? How would OKC do without Westbrook? What about NYC without Porzingis? The Mavs without Dirk? Oh, wait. Yeah, about the same. Scratch that
No, last season was Morey's first attempt at would-be continuity based on reaching the WCF's the year before. It was an obvious fail.
Just finished watching the game on League Pass rewind. Whew! This team has a real tendency to fall apart offensively when the other team digs in. But at least they found a way to step up defensively themselves. And WTF is it with Tony Brothers and that horrible crew? That was the worst performance I've seen in a crew this year in ANY NBA game much less the Rockets games. And that review of the kicked ball? That was criminal....
The Zipser foul on James Harden stepback and-1 late in game was extrememy questionable. I dont think he fouled, Harden absolutely kicked his leg out after the shot to have Zipser trip over it. Or, I wouldnt have called a foul on that. Harden didnt have ALL the luck. He got called for a flagrant and foul late in OT that put Bulls back in it. Just those couple calls was difference in the game is what I'm saying
Kevin Martin trade was decent. It wasnt great, surely wasnt bad. He contributed as much as Lowry or Dragic, .500 ball. Lowry and Martin both led to getting Harden, so extra points on those.
I just had to buy league pass because I couldn't stand the thought of seeing the Rockets only once in the next 5 days. Anyhoo, the win pace is slowing: We're on pace to win 31 at home and 25 on the road for at 56-26 record. That isn't our 58-24 season, but it's still not that bad.
i decided not to watch the game for the first time in many years but only to read gamethread afterwards with not knowing the result...thank you clutchfans that was entertaining...
yep and yet I see dumb ass OKC fans think Rockets would still be a playoff team if we didn't have Harden.
That Harden flop on MCW's 6th foul was dirty. It could've seriously injured the guy. I wouldn't want a guy like Draymond Green doing it to Harden either. Also makes games ugly as **** for the spectators. Not an MVP move.
Watch it again. Watch where Harden's feet land and where Zipser's feet are. The guy crowded him. He used that Bowen f*cking defense and didn't allow him space to land. That is a now considered a foul per Bullard. Rocket River
