This game I love is constantly changing...this team I love is schizophrenic.

Well, I don't have anyone on my ignore list yet but I did take notice to the fact that there was a prolonged period of silence in here after the initial onslaught took place. One could only conclude that the gunslinger known as DonKnock had emptied his hand cannon and left no man alive. RIP to all who fell in this.

Only ppl I have on ignore are those who I've never seen before, but are peppering a game thread with hate, so I ignore in that thread as a cleansing purge. Had the same strategy when game chat was in IRC. However, in IRC the app would purge ignores between sessions. So, now I have to remember to unignore a lot.

 

Probably a good strategy. I think joomba is the only dude to come close to my ignore list but I just can't bring myself to do it because he's just too much fun.

 

Tonight's probably not the best night to have pessimistic fans eat crow lol. The team looked like crap, Harden bailed us out. I believe they can turn it around, but it's a rough stretch and most fans have a right to be upset.

 

Eh, team looked bad. Barely beat the Bulls at home without their best player. Team has a long way to go if they want to get back to the level they were at in December. This was hardly a convincing win.

Back to back piss poor performances. Nah.... we shouldn't have any doubt against our team.
These were two top leastern conference contenders we faced.

 

This thread shows why the the game threads should probably be avoided. Just too much negativity in those threads. And, have people never learned anything about an NBA game? Sometimes a loss turns into a win, and a win turns into a loss. It's best not to assume a game is won or lost while the game is still being played.

This turned out to be a really fun game. Maybe this win will be the beginning of a strong finish to the season for the Rockets.

 

We still need another playmaker at PG or F who can score when the 3s aren't falling for the whole team and a rim protector. That's not being a hater or doubter, that's being honest. Hope we can find one at the deadline, if not, then that means Morey decided to wait until summer to upgrade those positions and I'm fine with that. I will just KNOW this is not a real contending team this year so I will temper my expectations (UNLESS they can shoot 40%+ from 3 throughout the playoffs) .

True, as the fourth quarter was winding down I was starting to really get depressed about the Rockets.

This win was big to at least keep treading water. We need to get to all-star break for some R&R.
