WTF was the last shot? Dude played with Kobe all those years and now he think he can pull up like him.
Ariza is 31 and clearly lost a step on defense. On offense he has always been average player so you add the combination of declining defense with his average offense it is not a great mix.
Ariza was so non-chalant and in denial about his horrible game in his interview last night. Among all the players getting most minutes, this guy is most disappointing and needs to be traded or come off the bench for the Rockets to be a legit contender. I say this because he has been horrible offensively and average defensively since last season. Its also ironic that our two least productive players that get minutes both have championship rings - Ariza and Brewer. This kinda shows that non-superstar players with rings can be highly overrated.
I hate Ariza as much as Corey Brewer since the latter left the team. He is a ***king overrated piece of ****!
He did his best Brewer impersonation tonight. That shot at the end of the game... wow. We could've stole this game if he kicked it back out and we actually ran a play. This team with Hayward in place of Ariza is probably championship caliber
Well yeah of course. Hayward is an all-star. Any all-star wing on this team instead of Ariza would make this a championship caliber team. However, it's irrational to think we could just get Hayward. We need to focus on role players that can replace Ariza this offseason. Do you realize how perfect Otto Proter Jr. would be on this team? PJ Tucker would've been really nice off the bench, as well as Wilson Chandler. I really like the move to get Lou, because we all see how talented he is. But man, we really need some help on the wing tonight.
I'm going to believe that it's just the frustration and disappointment of the recent loss talking. You know better.
