A trade for Wilson Chandler and the big guy they have up for grabs would help in several areas definitely will benefit the team in terms of ball handling, rim protection, and rebounding after tonight game we definitely need a big body more than anything
Rockets may not have assets to trade for BOTH a quality 3-D wing AND a long-athletic-rim protecting upgrade at the 5.
Where is Codman? I need something because this team is losing it! Morey needs to get Ibaka and Chandler in a Rockets uniform ASAP!!!
The regular season as it stands is a success and it is not the main goal. The current roster does not play like a legit contender based on recent play. When the three ball is not falling, there is no option b except keep shooting threes. Help!
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...trade-targets-who-could-shape-playoff-picture I'd take almost every one of these guys.
I think I just got over the embarrassing loss from last night. The Rockets are just tired, but it is time for Morey to start working on trades to get the team better. This team needs a back up point guard, and upgrade at the small forward position. Corey Brewer has to go, I don't care if they trade him for potato chips. I think Jameer Nelson as a back up point guard will be a good fit for this team. And get Wilson from the Nuggets. And they should try to trade for Ibaka, he would be a huge upgrade too.
Ditto. Hopefully, Brewer's contract could be marketed as: 2016-17: Only $2.5MM left to payout to Brewer with the season 2/3's over. We might cover that with a cash kicker. 2017-18: A $7.6MM expiring contract to be used by the acquiring team for future trades.

Yea. Has Cod posted anything in a while? I know we miss the inside info (if there is some) but more importantly he was battling the big C. Long silences are concerning. Cod if out there ping us. Don't care if you have info, let us know you are doing ok.
Codman's last post with any "insider info" was in the Kings game thread, very early. It kinda got buried there; I only saw it because I did a search (wanting to see if he had any new info and, yes, if he was "all right"): I like watching the Kings play. So much talent, yet, so underachieving... Some birds, or a moose-- perhaps a bull (We can be religious, too)-- would help us checkmate the Kings. Sooner or later, we'll need some depth at the 1 and 4, if we want to be able/el to compete deep into the playoffs. NN won't completely die down and is thrown around everywhere...but does he give you anything more than what Clint can? Welp, another disgruntled freebird. Clint looks to be healing, but we need some bulk down low. Ne' has been playing well, and he's super happy with his decision. But, you want him healthy come late season. If you're happy with his contributions, just wait until the playoffs where he thrives on intensity. He won't back down...but we need another guy like that. Picture a Matt Barnes type (without the chokeslam on the ladies) at the 4 or 5: we need a few guys that don't smile much because lord knows, we're a happy group. I would love Boogie here, but that would require some help to facilitate. But, one man's trash is another man's treasure, right? That's how it was for J Smoov, including the white one. If you free a guy to go play in the right system, the potential is endless. Post #52 in this link: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...rockets-1-31-2017.280262/page-3#post-10908910 He also posted, "Due diligence, due diligence" in the "Serge Ibaka on the block" thread. That wasn't too long ago, so hopefully he's doing okay.
He mentions Nerlens Noel (NN), Smoov and a Matt Barnes type (as in an intimidating in your face presence on D). Sounds like Lance Stephenson to me. And Boogie Cousins, but he can't get them all right.
Appreciate that. Although I am not good at deciding at least it tells me there are some conversations going on
The "Matt Barnes type" that he mentions is what we need at the 4 (he says), an unsmiling in-your-face dude, so not Lance Stephenson.
