Dekker was just as worthless as Brewer. And neither guy was the reason the Rockets lost tonight. It was the lack of killer instinct to main a 20+ point lead and pathetic rim protection and perimeter D that did us in. Settling for 3's and bad shots instead of driving to cup for and 1's was catalyst to let them back in.

KJ should be getting ALL of Brewer's minutes and 25% of Ariza's!
Both Brewer and Ariza are garbage offensively anyway.
BOTH of them make most Rockets fans cringe on offense.

given that he played decently well early in the season as a rotation player, it's mindboggling that he hasn't even gotten spot minutes once since then. not even 2min in the 2nd Q just to see if he can give the team some energy. and funny thing he's actually shooting 3's at a 10% higher clip than fukin sewer!

Clippers want to find a 3rd team to move Jamal to so they can keep their big 3 and sign Melo. It's just how it is in the league. Need a big 4 or bust. Why do you think Lebron has been b****ing to the media non-stop lately about them needing more talent through trades? He knows to beat Golden State in this era, it would require an even more stacked team. The Warriors have been blowing other teams out left and right by 30-40 these days, it's absolutely ridiculous that the NBA let such a talented team be formed.

If Lebron was in Harden's shoes, he'd probably would leave Houston to form a big 3 elsewhere since Morey can't get it done.

Better 3PT, better FT, better dunks.....

KJ is also our best shot blocker, 2nd best at worst.

Give Brewer a chance! He's just going through a rough patch.

He is a scrub. If you are a scrub and want to play then go to Europe.

He should have at least gotten some minutes along with Harrell when Brewer is stinking it up for the whole year and Nene doesn't play that much.

I don't want to acquire a player we can't play in crunch time in a tight game game. I can't take another season of hack-a-strategy....I just rather not

Ariza and/or Brewer should be traded. They aren't 3 and D players they just suck at shooting threes and are overrated defenders.

Dekker has hit the rookie wall. He will be fine in the long run. The issue is Brewer and Trevor because their minutes need to be limited for various reasons. Trevor is 31 and has lost a step combined that with the crazy slump Gordon is in we are asking to much from a limited offensive player to pickup the slack. Rockets need something from the 3 spot and need it fast.Ariza is struggling/declining, Brewer just sucks bad and MDA has no intention of playing KJ.

The Corey Brewer phenomenon is beyond me. It's fascinating really.

KJ McDaniels is a limited offensive player but could've easily been the right option to put some brakes on Hardaway. He plays well off of Harden, slashing and catching lobs. Brewer, on the other hand, resembles a headless chicken combined with an overzealous weekend warrior at the YMCA.

Dude, they didn't even bother to guard him standing at the corner 3 and he AIRBALLED it.

It's time. Open up the competition with these bench guys and see if a better player develops.

I'd rather play Harrell at SF than Corey Sewer at SF. That is how much Brew sucks....

Either MDA wanted him rested for tonight or he's about to get traded

You read my mind. He shot like 40% from 3 his first 10-15 games for the Rockets. Since then, he's been on a little slump, sure. But the real problem is that coaches aren't playing him enough minutes - he needs to work through these struggles. Put him starting at SG (with Harden off the bench and playing off the ball, where he belongs) and yule c rapid improvement in the entire team.
