How should Dwight Howard be received by Houston fans in his return?

Dwight was here for 3 years. he put in 2 years of "tremendous" effort. That's 95% effort 66.7% of the time he was here.

I really appreciate Dwight's first two years. It just leaves such bad taste in my mouth when someone basically quits on the team. If this Rockets team had pick and roll/defensive minded Dwight they'd probably be even better than they are now. Wish his mindset was different in the end.

Cheer him after the video, then I don't care if he's killed by the fans during the game. Maybe he will shrink if fans choose to boo.

 

If anything we should boo Bazemore.

leslie alexander called him the biggest free agent acquisition in rockets history. He chose houston when every team/city wanted him.

Is it lame to take that into account when discussing whether or not houston should boo him?

 

When the playoffs showed up..Dwight balled. Disheartening to see that he took it easy for the regular season though. He is a good person. Weird..but good person... He does however always find ways to leave an organization in a foul mood afterwards. While I dont think people should boo Dwight, I expect him to get a poor welcome.

 

We should cheer him for leaving..

 

I think Dwight Howard was very professional during his stay in Houston and he gave us some GREAT playoff games. I will cheer for him.

 

Don't need to give him a standing ovation, but cheer him. Dude is cringey and a locker-room mess but he tried and played well every season except for last. Playoff Dwight always seemed to show up.

My sensible side says we should give him a small round of applause and then boo the hell out of him when the game starts.

I will say this every person young or old that I have talked to at Toyota center this season all have negative stuff to say about Dwight when he's name has been brought up.

This leads me to believe that he will hear a lot of boos come tom night.
