I second this. Also, there is a little place by 610 and MLK (I think) called Burger Park. That place is pretty good as well.

The shack with outdoor benches to eat?

I haven't there in years. It was good.

Agreed, only one here in Houston. Had it in Austin; great burgers and great fries.

Christian's is probably my favorite. Southwell's is good. Had Stanton City Bites once, it was good but wouldn't call it my favorite. Lankford's burger tastes great but it's too greasy for me, have eaten there twice and literally got sick once and felt awful the other time.

Enjoyed the cheech burger at Moontower Inn recently. They have b1g1 free burgers on Mondays.

Southwell's all the way. Been twice, throughly enjoyed it, it's a bit of a drive for me so I can't frequent.

Surprised to see the love for Southwells. Only went once before (Med Center), but patty was too thin and it was just all around meh. Had me wishing I had just gone to the Whataburger across the street

It might have been the timing. The burgers aren't the biggest, not by a long shot. But the two times I've been the place was empty and they made it to order so it was right off the grill. Maybe that's how they do it regardless, I'm not sure.

Good question. Not sure...but this one has shrimp fried rice on the menu. Pretty uniquely destinguishable if the one in austin carries the same thing.

Shake Shack is such overrated crap. $19 for a burger, chicken sandwich and a coke?
Five Guys also is just really pricey for what you're getting.

Shake Shack maybe for tourists taking selfies in New York.

In 'n Out is a great priced, good product as is Steak n Shake and Whataburger rock unless you're
going to Prime Burger's at Pappas Steakhouse or Perry's etc.

At Beck's now. The burger is good. The price is 50% more than Fuddruckers... 50% less than Fuddruckers is fast-food.

This Meyerland location has no veggie bar, self-serve drink machine, nacho cheese option, and no turkey burger.

    Quality burger and fries though.
