Cavs want a back up PG, Houston needs a back up 3-D player. How about Ennis for Cedi Osman (6'8 210)? They are both wasting away on the bench for their respective teams. Osman is better shooter, ball handler and distributor than Brewer. Also longer, better attitude, work ethic and BB IQ than KJ. Package KJ and picks for a rebounding rim protecting center prospect. Edit: Oops, just saw that Osman is not playing with Cavs so do they still own his rights or can he be signed directly from Turkish team?
Interesting. Not sure if Vala fits well here and i'm not a great fan, but i'm also not sure he's used well in Toronto...he can definitely play.
Ennis, Brewer, KJ, Harrell, 2019 2nd round pick (currently is a pick swap with ORL), and 2017 Rockets 1st for Ibaka and CJ Watson Orlando gets a young big, a pick, and frees up space for Air Gordon to finally play the 4! Rockets get a stretch 4/5 and CJ is a solid backup point with only $1 million guaranteed next year
There is very little reason for Orlando to do this trade without the 1st round pick. Why would they give up one of their best players and take on Corey frikkin Brewer without getting more compensation?
Brewer/montrezl/1st for ibaka Yuck on hezonja. He has shown nothing to prove he can play at this level. Inb4 _holic tells me I don't know basketball and he's the absolute best scout for talent.
Speaking of adding rebounding and rim protection...I have mentioned in the past at keeping an eye on Boban. And low and behold the Pistons are shopping him and Baynes.
Baynes is certainly big (270-280) but mobile? The guy lumbers up and down the court. Pretty good rebounder though. Still say aim high and go after Nerlens Noel.
My gut feeling tells me that the Rockets aren't going to make any serious trades. I think the reason is because the team is doing well right now as is, and if any trade is to be made that would require us to give up anything substantial such as future picks or any of our rotation players then that trade would have to satisfy Morey in a way where he felt it would put us over the top of the teams ahead of us. I don't see any trade out there that would currently do that for the Rockets, at least nothing that would be acceptable for the other teams involved while also putting our team ahead of where it is right now. I think Morey may make smaller deals, if any. Nothing that will greatly impact the roster as far as this season goes but will possibly give us more flexibility this summer. I hope I'm wrong, and we end up raiding someones treasure chest but I just don't see it happening.
Who hacked Tha_Dude's account?!? We got a party pooper of an imposter here. Need those positive vibes Dude!
I have one: Brewer/Ennis/Clutch the Bear/basketballholic x Jimmy Butler (Bulls) Just basketballholic by himself is worth 2 first round picks
