Blake Griffin cannot be traded to the Knicks per Marks... Spoiler: Marks' explanation regarding 2 designated rookie max traded to same team
So if we see D-Rose traded to say....Brooklyn for Brook Lopez. Then we can think Blake to Knicks as a possibility.
James Johnson as point forward has been amazing over the last 2 weeks. Johnson is at 1 year 4M, KJ + late 2nd RD for Johnson. I think this is an overpay but I think Johnson would flourish.
I believe he would do well with Houston also. I've been targeting Johnson for 2 yrs now. I'm hoping that Morey explores this deal after trying the bigger deals.
Not really a wing, more of a stretch 4. And not very good perimeter defender. But I love his ball handling and passing ability for a big. But if people think Harden is turnover prone, watch out for Johnson.
[QUOTE="Astrodome, post: 10907842, member: 59995"The magic recieved the Lakers 1st rd pick for this year. Eeek[/QUOTE] I believe Sixers have Lakers' first rounder if it falls between picks 4-30.
I'm close to using Dekker as a tradable asset. It's easy to see Dekker is gun shy on shooting the 3, much like Terrence Jones was. Not to say Dekker won't turn it around beyond this year and become a good player....just need to get better piece or two to get over the top this year. Open Rockets players need to shoot the 3 to maintain Rocket scheme fluidity. I believe I was watching a nationally televised Spurs game, when Hubie Brown told a story about Danny Green. Supposedly Pops told Danny he better learn to pump fake & take 1-2 dribbles if he plans to stick with the Spurs. Dekker needs to learn the same. He won't always make it all the way to the rim from the 3-pt line.
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=hed2bcz Along with all the 1st and 2nd round pick to make work
James with EG going against the second unit would be explosive. James is also shooting 56% right corner 3s, 21% on left corner 3s. We all can agree that is better than Brewer. Bev/EG/Ariza/Ryno shoot majority of their 3s around the arc. Also, Bev is an improved playmaker but I don't we can count on him against better teams
Kj for Brandon rush could be an obtainable swap. 2 years left Vs expiring. Younger Vs older. Defensive Vs offensive. I'd like to acquire thus Jones also but IDK if they bite. Maybe we could expand it to be kj/ennis/por2nd. None the less I think Kj for rush is a realistic trade that improves depth and opens cap. Something like this could be what morey is targeting
Everybody knows I would like another wing. I recently saw Cavs vs Thunder. LeBron forced the mismatch of Cameron Payne.....took him into the post for some "Mouse in the House" action. It was no contest. I would like to counter that "Mouse in the House" action with slightly bigger players (not named Brewer). Harden*Ariza*Dekker*Johnson*Capela.....or.......Harden*EG10*Ariza*Johnson*Capela Or Harden*Sefolosha*Ariza*Dekker*Capela (or Ryno) Or Harden*Ariza*Dekker*Markieff Morris*Capela Codman posts mentioned best example that could be used was from Ricky in possible movie "Boyz n the Hood" played by Morris Chestnut. Detroit team was mentioned possibly meaning Markus Morris as the example; but Codman followed up some teams noted with "among others." There is still time for Washington to implode and have a towel thrown in the face of the coach moment. What the heck....use Dekker & Harrell to get Markieff & Mahinimi. Edited later: scratch Mahinimi.....just saw his contract
Close, but not without other moves. Ryno really helps spread the floor, more so than what PPatt would do. JVal is a beast; I don't see either team wanting to do it.
JVal has regressed and is slowly becoming obsolete with the emergence of Lucas Nogueira. PPat isn't as good of a shooter as Rhyno, but better defender and rotator.
