Plenty of truth to build a case for incompetent presidency. Don't need lies and propaganda which I will always attack regardless who is potus. Lying and deceiving is not cute.

Some level of fear is very helpful and good. We wouldn't still be here if our ancestor were never fearful.

An irrational level of fear based on ignorance that grow into hate? Not what anyone want. Witness the person saying thousands and thousands of Muslim celebrated 911 - how does one come to such a statement? Then witness the person proceeding with the ban. Based on what? Vetting has been working. We know that because all islamic terrorists that happen since 911 have been done by US citizens, not immigrants. So yes, it's based of fear (irrational), ignorance and hate.

Lock them up! Lock them up! jk

Don't worry: ISIS is gonna pay for the wall--I mean, pay for themselves to get blown up . . . after . . .

Doofus, Trump wants ISIS to live forever. They are awesome for business. Stop sucking Trump's lies and think logically for a moment. What does Trump do? Business. . . .

What ignorance? Go tell Europe they are wrong to be fearful of immigration from these countries. And spare me the ignorance turns to hate bullshit. There is a much simplier explination for why the EO was given. Trump (like many Americans) is afraid of what happens when you allow immigration from these countries and he bases that off what is going on in Europe. That's not hate.

There's an ocean separating us from them and our vetting process has been very good so far anyway.

was it out of ignorance and hate when Obama banned visas from the exact same countries? Or was that out of rainbows and love?

Intelligence disagrees with you , they say quite often we don't have enough data to vet these people.

Unlike Trump's edict, it was out of evidence of specific threat. Please go back and read the story showing how comparing it to Obama's visa program aren't applicable. They have been posted.

I'll be kind and post a link again.

This EO block 10% of the world's Muslims from entering for 120 days.

    https://apnews.com/98c2a8cac3b74bde...wback-from-Cabinet,-diplomats-for-refugee-ban

    Portions of the article.....
    __________________________________________________________________________
At least three top national security officials — Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly and Rex Tillerson, who is awaiting confirmation to lead the State Department — have told associates they were not aware of details of directive until around the time Trump signed it. Leading intelligence officials were also left largely in the dark, according to U.S. officials.

Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker, the top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations committee, said that despite White House assurances that congressional leaders were consulted, he learned about the order in the media.
    __________________________________________________________________________
Mattis, who stood next to Trump during Friday's signing ceremony, is said to be particularly incensed. A senior U.S. official said Mattis, along with Joint Chiefs Chairman Joseph Dunford, was aware of the general concept of Trump's order but not the details. Tillerson has told the president's political advisers that he was baffled over not being consulted on the substance of the order.

    __________________________________________________________________________
While Spicer said "appropriate committees and leadership offices" on Capitol Hill were consulted, GOP lawmakers said their offices had no hand in drafting the order and no briefings from the White House on how it would work.

"I think they know that it could have been done in a better way," Corker said of the White House.

The executive order was largely crafted by Steve Bannon, Trump's chief strategist, and Stephen Miller, a young policy adviser and former congressional aide to Trump's pick for attorney general, Sen. Jeff Sessions. Spicer insisted the advisers had kept departments "in the loop at the level necessary," but he sidestepped questions about whether Cabinet secretaries were directly involved in the process.

Am I the only one who thinks trumps base (people who voted for him) are actually eating this up. I think they are pretty much in love with Trump right now. And the more people that protest him, the more they love him as a president.

Facebook tells the story. Trumpeters are loving this, most non trump-republicans are being silent or equivocating and everyone else is acting like he just bombed Nagasaki

Non-trumps Republicans would not be on Facebook. Not sure why someone would make political assertions off Facebook anyways.

He was correct. Why are white conservatives so defensive and in need of safe space and PC these days? It's shameful.

Oh, a constructive response - this should be the Democrats 2018 midterm battle cry: no safe space for whites.

Getting past FB's childish retort, Bannon is likely playing editor to Miller, who himself is probably translating whatever Trump has planned.

Democrats are getting played by a career troll. Probably time for them to pick up the pieces and move on: which means compromising with Trump.
