Can you imagine if you went to the Rockets store, home of all your Rockets gear, and they only sold Mavs gear?!?! It would be a scam to promote as Home of All of Your Rockets Gear!!!

Seriously, I'm pro choice and don't even mind funding abortions but I'd rather normal ethical doctors offices do it or another honest organization. PP are frauds and liars. I don't like giving money to liars.

The Rockets store would be a fraud. That isn't what happens at PP though.

oh boo hoo. Conservatives dont compromise so Liberals dont compromise.

Why must everything come down to being slightly less worse than the other party? This mentality is exactly how we ended up with Trump and Hillary.

Liberals are losing at the game the Conservatives play ... massively.

Compromise usually takes two to work, there is no such a thing as a one sided compromise.

There is no such thing as Pro-Life. The religious right is pro-birth. What happens after that is none of their concern.

And who is actually pro-abortion? PP and NARL seek to limit unwanted pregnancies and reduce the number of abortions. I can't understand why the religious right can't get on board with this other than the Roman Catholic/hard evangelical stance that life begins at erection. It's madness, abstinence is a guaranteed looser, "people suppose be horny!".

If life begins at erection, every male ever is, by far, a murder trillions of times over.

Technically life is non-inorganic matter that can achieve cell division. So yes, sperm could be considered life. Hell blood cells are"life like" so every time we bleed we could be killing.

I'm pro choice but its not an easy position to take. We know so little about how life and the universe works that I always wonder what if I was aborted. Who "I" never have existed? What right did anyone have on whether I existed or not? That's some existential **** right there and the only things that makes me question my pro-choice position. But then I remind myself that no one has the right to exist or not exist really, and it's all just random entropy.

Would you support sending money to ISIS, so long as it is earmarked for feeding the people within the territory they control?

    Well 2 reasons.

    1. The whole point of PP is to provide abortion services to women, that's their primary goal and everything else they do is secondary. They'd rather shut down than stop providing abortions.

    2. They make a ton of money off abortions. While they do some other things, abortion is by far their cash cow. It would be like telling Burger King to stop making hamburgers.

    The idea everyone gets something

This is why to get something like Healthcare . . .. somewhere deep in the same law is funding for some bridge to nowhere
    just a hypothetical example

I knew Roe V Wade but did not know about the constitution
I guess there is an Amendment somewhere cause
I could not imagine it was something that came up in 1776.

I don't like Planned Parenthood primarily for his historical racist beginnings
They were a part of the Eugenics movement.

Yes, the founder was indeed a horrible racist. She was all over the false science and trying to justify white superiority. I think they seem to have moved on since then.

Abortions have been around for a long time... like past the Greek Empire old. I'm sure ole Thomas Jefferson knew about it.....
