I hate to make this about me, but I turn 50 in a few months, and my son turns 9 in July. I'm really stressed about the world he's growing up in, and although any terrorism sucks, Muslim extremism is not topping the list of my worries. At least not directly.

What shouldn't be? I'm not worried about shark attacks, and although Muslim extremism should be a concern to anyone with at least a few functioning brain cells, I specifically stated that Muslim extremism is NOT my top concern.

 

I think robbie was referring to some statistic. Terrorism is horrible, has a long lasting emotional effect on everyone nearby and far and go straight to the human weakness - emotional stress and fears. But statistically, it's a minuscule danger for US. You are probably more likely to be killed by a furniture falling on you.

 

I had friends (Columbians) coming over for dinner yesterday from Quebec city, they praised how the city is opening up to diversity, well..RIP

Reports that one of the suspects is of Moroccan heritage. Perhaps that explains why it's taken so long for their identities to come out. It may not fit Justin Trudeau's desired narrative.

I live in Quebec City and that "suspect" is bot a suspect anymore, he is considered a witness. The only suspect that has been arrested is a 27 years old white supremacist, the police just confirmed it.
