Like I said, you wouldn't have this current team. We'd have no Ariza, we would never had made the WCF because Parsons was hurt, etc.

At least it wouldn't be a can kick, we'd be in the lotto while Harden would be playing for the Lakers.

    But we'd have Swaggy P!

    LMAO

CJ McCollum oblierating Portions and making him obsolete

One more step towards irrelevancy for the egotistical moron Parsons

Never been happier that it was "so easy" for Parsons to leave Houston.

You refute me by agreeing with me? I said the first paragraph of the post I responded to was TERRIBLE logic. Go back and read my post

I don't really have a vendetta against Parsons anymore, but man he looks terrible in what I've seen from him this year. So slow, bad instincts, what an overpay.

Makes me think what could've been if he stayed with the Rockets. Perhaps he'd still be a top player in this league. Not an All-Star level, but one of the top 3rd bananas out there.

Parsons just looking for paydays he's not worth. Glad he's gone.

    Agree to disagree

Ariza's become a decent 3 point shooter, though is just a spot up shooter now. Ariza is a dependable iron man and better defender for certain. Though Parsons drops buckets in so much more efficiently, Parsons was near 50% and 41% on 3's last year. And adds adequate enough secondary playmaking, rebounds the same, its more contribution overall. Think of Sam Dekker compared to Corey Brewer, no its not THAT wide a difference, but Dekker's offense and bad D beats Brewer's defense and experience. I see Parsons over Ariza in the aesthetic similarity

Like I said, its only 15% better maybe less, but certainly not max contract better and I'd done exactly what Morey did (Parsons NOW especially who's looking like an old 28 year old) And yes better player doesnt always mean better fit, like Capela compared to Dwight. Need SOMEONE on wing with approach to defense

parsons lost a ton of his athleticism through all these injuries/surgeries. that has made his game diminish a ton. I really doubt we'll ever see the versatile active CP again. He'll have to adjust his game to a much slower approach now which is not a good thing for him
