Well, it felt like a loss from the very start. Let's hope the team can get its groove back this coming week.

The all star break can't get here fast enough. Brutal schedule equal exhausted players.

So we gonna use "tired legs" till the all star break?

Weird because we used it after our first loss the season too

Rockets are experiencing the most sh**iest part of a sh*tty schedule the past 2 weeks.

They haven't been Good defensively/rebounding the entire season, so that factor is planted.

I am to blame... I came home from work tired and didn't have any mojo to offer the rockets. When I do they always do better.

In early March, they will have 6 games vs :

    LAC
    Grizs
    Spurs
    Jazz
    Bulls
    Cavs

You said that's easier than the last 6?

    Zero b2b's helps.

Rockets are winning 33% last 10 games.

If they go 33% in those 6 games, shame on them.

Another reason for this loss is that the bad teams are getting the chemistry on the court. The top 8 Eastern Conference teams, all the teams are 4-6, 6-4 in the last 10 games with exception to the Wizards. The top 8 Western Conference teams, most of the teams without the Warriors have 4+ losses in the last 10 games. Besides being overplayed by the NBA, the bottom feeders are winning games like Pelicans and Mavs over Spurs, or 3 blowouts losses against the Clippers after a long winning streak. The Jazz have lost 3 of 4 after a two week-long winning streak. OKC went 3-3 in recent games. The Grizzlies has done a little worse than Thunder. It shows that the Rocks are losing games recently because other teams are getting their act together, most importantly if the Rocks don't play urgently or play lackluster they will get beat. Hopefully, the home stand will get some rejuvenation and more hops into their game.

Rockets did have the worst preseason schedule.., by far.

If you paid attention, you'd also know Rockets get needed rest before the Break.

    There's also been injuries.

    What are complaining about?

It's better to experience a lull now than later. There's time and it's easier to fix problems now than when you have them during the playoffs.

    Go Rockets!

I think he's looking for perfection, a team that can win regardless of any excuses. To me the worst thing is playing well and still losing. At least we're not that. We seem to win almost every single time we play well. Only game that gets my craw is the loss against the Spurs when that b*stard aussie hit the game winning three. Right now, the other losses don't bother me as much as that one because you want to think playing the game you're capable of means victory. That doesn't mean perfection, just that you're able to play your style effectively with human error included. We were far from effective tonight. I mean 53 points with 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter is a sign of your squad being a bit lame. We've got more left in us. Time is on our side in many ways. Fewer games, more practice time to improve, and plenty of basketball left to play. As bad as this sucks, this is a good time to suck if there is one.

We need a couple more shooters, a rim protector, a backup stretch 4 and a competent PG as insurance. If Morey screw up the trade deadline it's gonna get ugly in the playoffs.
