Why can't you remove abortion from planned parenthood? That way people can support the other aspects of planned parenthood and not have such an opposition for funding, then abortion funding is its own separate argument or is that the point?

Why should they have to? Abortion is legal, and protected by the constitution.

Because people don't oppose the other aspects of planned parenthood, just don't want to pay for abortion.

People aren't paying for abortion. No federal money that goes to Planned Parenthood goes to fund abortions.

This. PP is not in the federal budget. Pretty sure it's mostly funded from Medicaid.

Because liberals would rather be self righteous than compromise.

protected by the constitution does not mean subsidized by the taxpayer

Talk to your guys about shutting down conversion therapy and abstinence only education. Then get a room at 8 Greenway with a conference table so we can slide pieces of paper across to each other.

Self righteous and uncompromising LOL. Check the mirror.

PP is being attacked because it IS the abortion provider in the USA. There is no bigger provider. If they stop providing, who is going to take their place. Chances are no one, or if someone, they would be attacked relentlessly next. This is the reality of the world we live in and you can hide from it all you want and spew out garbage of self righteous when you either do not understand the issue or don't give a damn for self righteous reasons.

Since none of the taxpayer funding goes towards the abortions, you aren't complicit in any abortions.

Funny coming from someone whose party passed over 600 anti abortion bills in 2016 from local to federal levels. Conservatives talking about compromise, lolz...

until conservatives start supporting women who have unwanted pregnancies with expanded social welfare and programs, contraceptives, etc, then the hand wringing and crocodile tears over fetus butchery will always be seen for what it is: slut shaming and payback(do the crime--do the time). I've not heard a reasonable argument from the right on reducing unwanted pregnancies, especially when they frequently seek to eliminate free access to contraceptives and reduce child/mother/family welfare programs. Maybe I'm not listening or haven't paid attention, correct me if I'm wrong(ab-only ed. isn't worth discussing).

You're not wrong. The vast majority of anti choice advocates will pretend to care about dead baybeez, but really they just hate sluts and want them to pay for having control of their own lives.

I'm pro-choice but still don't want my taxes going to that. I'd rather it go to free birth control and taking care of old people and vets.

    Also, PP is a scam.

Obviously video has an agenda and they didn't call all locations but still that looks horrible, very misleading, and honestly a scam.

PP is no scam and the video was horrible and not good evidence of anything.

For the millionth time, your tax dollars are not funding abortions at PP.

I do not personally care too much about abortion rights, for all I care they could ban abortion like they used to. However, conservatives talking about compromise is the biggest joke in history. They are mostly hypocrites that talk about one thing then do exact the opposite many times.
