Replace "league" with "worthless draft industrial complex." The draft is such a cesspool of bullshit...........

That 2014 draft is turning out to be on point though.
I've never really been a fan of expert opinion either. They tend to blow some players up who don't deserve it. But every now and then they get one right.

That draft turned out to have a lot of good players in it, Clowney, Mack, Mike Evans, Odell Beckham, Aaron Donald, Derek Carr.....and that's just the first 36 picks.

You could have literally taken almost any WR from that draft and they would have been a 1000 yard reciever at least. Funny how the bills traded to get one of the most injury prone players

We had people here calling for us to take Watkins with the #1 overall pick if you remember.

After reading about all the potential options I think Osweiler may be the Texans best choice at qb in 2017. Savage is injury prone and wasn't any better when he did play; the draft looks like a bunch of lotto tickets; Garoppolo will cost too much in draft capital; Romo will cost too much financially.

If Fuller and CJF catch those TD's they dropped against NE the entire narrative of Osweiler changes. He played well against Tennessee in the last regular season game and the Raiders in the playoff game. Let's give him another full off-season and season in this offense. I think the continuity and familiarity will help him out.

Hopkins and Fuller didn't help out much either with their inability to get separation and with drops. CJF started dropping some passes in the latter part of the year. We know about the oline issues. Akeem Hunt had more success running between the tackles than Lamar Miller.

This is not mean to absolve Osweiler. He needs to sit down with O'Brien and Sean Ryan and review film and clean up the mistakes. I'm sure he left plenty of yards on the field and missed plenty of open receivers. But when you review all the options he's probably the best bet...

In fairness it was just one poster who was pushing for that, but there was a lot of dumb going around leading up to that draft. We had people really pushing for Manziel, Bridgewater, Barr, Mack, Donald and the one guy pushing for Watkins. It was insanity. Looking back, the only non-Clowney suggestions that weren't completely insane were Mack and Donald, but Aaron Donald still doesn't fit the scheme.

This is funny stuff right here. Did you watch Osweiler play this yr? It was painful.

A 1st and a 4th is a penitence to pay for a franchise QB. Garappolo is a franchise QB. IMHO

does wes welker have ties to NE?

so no one is imposing on who B.O.B wants to hire, it's still b.O.B interesante.

Very poor analysis. Any sane person with eyes can see that rolling with Brock is volunteering to fail. He is clearly not the answer and will cost his team multiple games with his poor play.

Seriously, it's painfully obvious. He simply cannot be our quarterback.

Most coaches have full autonomy over their coaching staff.
