Sounds like you live in my neighborhood. Club Nomadic is about to blow up street parking... Same spot Day for Ngiht Fest was when it first started.
Falcons and some media will be staying at the Westin connected to the Memorial City Mall from the 29th-5th. Expect road closures and delays around there.
Here's another from Another Brother. Warren Moon at Houston Improv Tuesday night. Only a few tickets remaining! Come out and see George Wallace, Warren Moon, legends of the NFL and more. The VIP reception starts at 6pm and showtime is at 8pm. Let's kick this final football week off with a laugh! We're honoring the best quarterback in Houston Football history while witnessing other football legends compete in a hilarious improvisational segment. George Wallace closes, I host the show and ESPN Radio's Barry Laminack performs as well. Houston Improv - 713-333-8800
Living in Midtown, you should be more hip. You're willing to miss the crunkest event save Olympics to hit a city because of personal feelings?!! You are a wild one.
aren't they practicing at rice? I wonder why they chose something so far west instead of galleria or herman/medcenter area like zaza or something. honestly that sucks for them. I wonder where the pats (practicing at UH) are staying?
Didn't they shutdown the galleria due to all star weekend. I went to the game and the nba fan fest, but all the road closures sucked. I bet SB is way worse.
That's the day I may take him. Hopefully your right and it's not slammed pack. I'm going to look into 1 of those high speed passes that may help with long lines.
Sucks that Discovery Green, George R. Brown, and Minute Maid all open at 3. Should've had at least one of them open at noon or 1.
just depends what you're willing to pay and crowd you're looking for cause every one of these bigger parties will be filled with celebs etc accordingly
I went to the MLS experience once at the All Star game, and they let you take penalty kicks against MLS goalies. Short lines. And you got some autographed cards. It felt smallish and bit amateur back in 2002, but personal. My guess is most of the NFL events are things you could do in the backyard technically, but it did appear that getting a photo with the Lombardi trophy would be a take home.
