Wrong. Ben Simmons is their second best player. Then Noel and Okafor. Sam Hinkie is a genius who's story is yet yo be told. Embiid is just the first manifestation of Hinkies process to reveal itself. The jury is still out on Brett Brown.

 

Embiid admitted his knee was feeling sore following Friday's loss to the Rockets, and indicated he is dealing with a bone bruise that typically takes 2-3 weeks to heal, Derek Bodner of Philly Magazine reports.

- Look, until he can prove he ain't like Oden for at least 2 full seasons, it is still all hype.

 

I know a few remedies

Look, I can understand you wanting Embiid on this team. I can understand you would even fellate the 76ers GM. That's okay. But don't even joke about listening to Nickelback. I would as soon listen to "Barbara Streisand Sings Liza Minnelli".

 

Imagine Hakeem recruiting Embiid like he did Dwight. Embiid said he learned the game of basketball practicing Hakeem's moves 6 days a week.

 

I got to check how many people wanted James Anderson to be in the Rox uniform 3 seasons ago when he had a career high 36 points scored against the Rox.

 

Oden never had that type of skill set. Kid is legit.

 

Its a SMALL thing, but...

I am glad that in the midst of this... January... we were able to come up with stops, keep control, and generally have an answer to every Philly motivated run.

That team, and its crowd, just...wow. There is the ability to become something special, and you can tell theyre so hungry.

We weathered it, and we havent been able to do that lately. If we couldve played the 1st half like the second tho (overall more controlled) we probably couldve won by 15-20.

On the next one, ill still take 35-15, absolutely. We couldve had 40 wins already, January has been rough. Glad we got the V tho, either way.

 

Glad for the win, but can we begin a post about the one official that seems to miss the calls all the time on both sides?

 

Capela is still performing below the expectation so far, injury is a key but overall his defense other than shot blocking is still an issue, and he has to get better on finishing around/on the roll to the rim.

It is NOT a given that he will be here after next year, see TJ and Dmo.

And btw he is developing nicely and quitely.

This season, Rockets have not had a losing streak of more than 2. The only team team that haven't had a losing streak of 2 is the Warriors. Even the Spurs has a losing streak of 2, but never more than 2 just like the Rockets. As long as we keep from losing streaks, we still can chase those teams.

 

I watched the game and did not bother looking on this site, was joomba still btching regardless of this game?

I took a large bet on the "low" spread for tonight's game and the damn Sixers just had to hit the dam 3 at the end to mess it up for me! Ive never been so mad at a Rockets win.

 

Sixers are actually loaded with talent/future talent. Saric is a solid rookie, we all know about Embiid, Ben Simmons could be a stud, and Noel could be a starter on a lot of teams. I didn't even mention Okafor (20-10 type guy) and the fact that they have a ton of cap space and future picks to look forward to, including the Lakers 1st.

 

Quality win....the Sixers are not really a bottom team any longer.
