Comparative Advantage = beyond the comprehension of a Trumper.

Actually, it's beyond the comprehension of Trump.

Umm, do you understand what trade deficit even is, and how trade works? This is one of those truly "wow" statements that occasionally crop on this board. WTF.

A buffer? That would assume they're buffering something!

And China filling the void? Yeah, possibly a tiny part of it, but they certainly can't fill the entire void.

    Typical liberal ignorance on display!

I think Trump gets it because he was outsourcing everything to other countries....but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nieto's approval rating is lower than Trump's.

    Now that's saying something.

I have an enormous trade deficit with the nearby HEB. I give them money, and all they give me is groceries. I hate being taken advantage of like that. I hope Trump builds a wall around that HEB too.

Can anyone actually tell me why the border wall is a good idea that's worth $15 billion, other than pure symbolism.

It will stem the overwhelming tide of illegal immigration... that is actually pretty small... and already on the decline... and we're already deporting more people than are coming in... but... well...

hmm, those appear to be facts, I don't like that. I only work with alternative facts, which say that people are coming into the USA by the BILLIONS per day.

I think it's a smart tactic by Trump to lower the quality of life in the United States for everyone. When that happens, not even illegal immigrants will want to come here. Smart tactic Trump! That's MY President! While you guys are busy talking about the short game, Trump is playing the long game on how to make this country really bad. If only you guys understood the importance of freedom!
