Like who? Name names. I'm not advocating for the acquisition of Williams, I'm just tired of guys suggesting these proverbial "cheap but efficient" championship role players. Names please
Bradley Beal? I mean, you can question our legitimacy as a contender and I know there's a lot of fear around here that we peaked in December, but a move like this is both unlikely and risky given our success up until this point.
All I'm saying is we can't be married to keeping these 1st round picks because of potential. Harden isn't getting any younger. Late 1st round picks as opposed to a quality veteran player off the bench is a needle mover in the right direction. Doesn't put us on Cavs/Warriors level, but you never know what can happen if you get the right mix and catch lightning in a bottle. I hate to say it, but who would have ever thought that the Mavs would upset the Heat that year? I'm just advocating for more bullets in the chamber. I'm not saying Lou Will is the only move I would make or that he is going to put us over the top by himself, but I do think replacing Corey Brewer's minutes with a guy like him is one of the easiest and most obvious areas we can upgrade the team right now. I do like PJ Tucker too. Richaun Holmes. Jared Dudley. I can go on and on. Hopefully Morey finds something he likes and pulls the trigger. We're good, but we need a few tweaks here and there to give us our best chance during the playoff run.
....maybe on 2K17. In real life there's no way he's stealing minutes from RA or Dekk as a small ball 4. I get it, though. He's a solid player. I just wish he was a better shooter, since he would be used hypothetically to replace Brewer's minutes. Going from a 23% to 30% three point shooter is like diarrhea improving to just uncomfortable gas.
I'd prefer someone who can shoot the left corner three to complement Ryno & 3za's production on the opposite side. Spoiler: sorted by left corner 3FG%
Great find, and another reason I like Bojan for cheap. He's expiring and Brooklyn has no assets. Brewer+2nd maybe add gentile and they may bite depending on how desperate they are for picks
That's understandable, but at the same time you can't burn them for a minor upgrade...Lou can score, no doubt, he always did that in his career, but he never played team ball, that's what i don't like about him, this season we're playing like a team, i'm not sure how it will work out with him due to his play style...and btw how many minutes he would play here? 15/20 at best? Imo a 1st rounder is still too much for that...
Tucker 3pt career % = 0.343 Lou 3pt career % = 0.345 Tucker can also guard 3 positions (maybe 4), can rebound and won't disrupt our offense because he's not a ball hog.
There are no such things are guaranteed "championship role players". But cheap role players who can fit our back up needs, for example instead of Lou Williams why not the following? The torn Achilles probably means Rudy opts in for next season as he recovers. One can't expect his production next year to be very good or consistent. Bunch of money tied into a guy that can't produce very well. Should be better options.
Craguin....that's the stat I've been looking for for a month now. I've been looking under team stats. Could you find Sefolosha (top SF defensive rating and I hear he shoots 39% from corner 3)? Or Tab the link if you can please. I would appreciate it.
