Lack of relevant skills hurt non grad workers the most.

I think you'd be surprised how much counterfeit and stolen medication is sold globally and how much IP theft occurs.

It doesn't decrease US sovereignty from my perspective, it tries to standardize the globe in terms of trade and litigation. Is it perfect? Nope. Will it benefit the owners the most? These things always do. Is it necessary to standardize the globe in some fashion? Absolutely.

Increasing global standards relative to developed countries standards across industries is a good thing if you believe in global trade and "a rising tide lifts all boats". In the case of the TPP, it would have standardized countries along the Pacific (except China) which is a big ocean that already has a a lot of trade.

Well I'd have to wander if those were alternate facts by Trump, if he said them.

Despite all those job losses we have more manufacturing output and we've doubled exports from 2000 to 2016. We export more stuff than ever but it merely takes a fraction of the people to achieve it. Natural gas could potentially be a large jobs creator for domestic and international consumption (already have a couple export terminals coming online).

China has the same issue as us and they are spending a lot of money on keeping employment high presently and S. Korea has had essentially flat economic growth since 2001. Technology has really leveled the playing field post 2007 crash, not just automation but logistics has shrunk costs. Lastly In the US, the right to work states (Southern) have benefited the most from the auto industry, steel industry, refining, ship building, shipping and logistics in the 21st century.

Considering Bernie's also against TPP, I'm guessing you think he has little economic knowledge too.

You have Hillary's talking points on her opportunistic switch on the TPP. Hillary was for the TPP before she realized that that Bernie and the labor unions were against it and it was a political liability to support it. Few believed her sincerity on this switch and being so strongly tagged as the supporter of NAFTA and the TPP killed her in the general election.

Are you saying that China isn't seeking similar trade deals?
