At this point i dont even care if i get banned, but i want you to please stfu Edit: i managed to control myself
If the passing is predictable . . . There are three adjustments need to made 1. The Coach has to make the adjustment. <-- Primary person 2. Harden needs to adjust 2a. The other players need to adjust too Rocket River
You ask that as if I am an idiot. I have always given massive props to Harden, that's not the center of the discussion concerned.
Well, if you really want some honest opinion, Harden is not even top 10 in RPM, and his DRPM looks pretty bad. Not only that, Harden's on/off net rating is like only +3 or +4. Compare that to Westbrook's +18 or something, and I think it's fair to say Harden's influence on this team's success has been quite a bit exaggerated. It will be interesting to see how well this team does when Pat and EGo starts to cool off from their incredible performance early in the season.
Theres nothing predictable about it. He is just constantly double/tripple teamed because we have no other threat right now. Golden state is predictable aswell but they cant afford to double curry, why? Because that leaves either klay or durant or green open. Put Harden on ANY of the other top 4/5 teams right now (clippers, toronto, spurs mainly) and they win the title this year. He is THAT good.
Wanna throw up? Ryan Anderson probably dropped 36 deuces in the BMO Harris Bradley Center toilet, went through 11 toilet rolls & 3 cans of air freshener.
Honestly it's embarrassing to read your posts as a Rockets fan. Nothing enjoyable at all? Blowing out Memphis and Parsons on their floor was pretty enjoyable for me, and normal Rockets fans with a pulse. Our winning % has been lowered a bit but 8-5 is not terrible considering the schedule and competition. I would say Morey took too long to surround shooters with Harden, but the Dwight signing is really what sabotaged his vision that we couldn't implement until this year. He still deserves credit for finally getting him complementary talent with Gordon/Anderson and finding a number of gems outside of the lottery such as Dekker, Capela, and Harrell. Really, your ideas are Nick Young and keeping Beasley? How are Capela and Nene "not legit centers"? Not only are they legit but they are both amazingly cost effective options. Are you watching the same team?
So you named the one game from this month that we looked pretty good in, I see what you did there. Really, you wouldn't want Nick Young? 44% three point shooter. Plays serviceable D and can float between three positions. Really - you'd rather have Ennis over Beasley? I didn't even like Beasley but having no bench production when Gordon is ice cold is killing us. And you really think Capela and Nene (I like them both) are going to keep us in the contest in the post season? Well if that opinion isn't 'embarrassing' I don't know what is.
Terrible effort, Rockets just have too many games like this, which is why we won't catch SA for 2nd seed, hopefully we don't drop below 3rd. Really disappointing to see just no defensive resistance from us whatsoever. And of course if the other team has an easy time scoring, they'll get confident and start to hit tougher shots. Over the last few weeks we have approached too many games like this which is becoming a problem. We aren't talented enough to take such a relaxed approach. Really frustrating. Mediocre games from pretty much everyone, Harden clearly not focused, 11 turnovers is unacceptable, some of them he passed straight to the other team smh. As the PG, it's crucial for him to find the right balance between scoring and facilitating, and he definitely didn't tonight. His passes were too predictable, and taking just 10 shots is unacceptable. Strangely enough, his defense was fantastic, probably the best defensive game I've seen from him in quite some time. He was pretty much the only one giving a **** on that end tonight, unfortunately. Ah well, will be in attendance in Boston, fully expecting us to lose that one smh. Gotta get out of this funk, doubts starting to creep in that we just had a hot stretch and we are more like the team we saw in the first 10 games than in December.
