Jason Terry has always been a rocket killer, that's why we should have kept him on as an assistant coach or something. He probably had this one circled.
Yeah, tonight he came back in the game when we were under 6 or 7 with 6 minutes to go and he lost the ball three times in 3 minutes...those were killers...
I'd kick yo ass 1v1 son. We've lost 14 games now - want to go back through the film and determine how many of those Harden has cost us? I can name about 7 off the top of my head right now. As for other posters says the recent stretch is alarming as Harden has lost control of the basketball - that implies that he actually had control of the ball to BEGIN with. It is unreal how sloppy he is. But, inb4 I am labelled a Harden hater: - Anderson, I know he's been ill lately, but he has been an abysmal disappointment. - Corey Brewer, just **** you dude. Seriously. Get off my team. Pack your **** up and go, and Mike if you continue to defend his ass maybe you can go too. I'm sure we can find another coach who will spam pick and roll with Harden all day. I'm only joking on that point (or am I?) - Ariza, someone needs to slap you man. You are the very definition of bench fodder. How anyone can defend this guy as a start on this board is one of the great mysteries of the world. First year he was here his defense was fantastic. His defense is now average IF that now. Who's he stopped this year? Who's he made life difficult for this year? Can't stay in front of anyone, can't lock down anyone, bone headed play after boneheaded play. He is useless. When he's not making the easiest shot in basketball (the corner three), he is literally useless. USELESS. Dekker needs to be inserted into the lineup now. - Eric Gordon gets a big pass mark from me, but he's got to take on a bigger roll and show more maturity when his shot isn't always going down. Get to the rim more, make some plays. His defense was great to start the year and now he's getting blown-by by Delly. SMH. Pull your finger out or if you are injured, please rest. - Nene, been great. Pass mark. - Capela, you started the year so well, but if you miss one more point blank layup I'm going to lose it. And I save my last point for the messiah GM. Daryl Morey. **** you dude for wasting 4 years prior of Harden's prime, and guess what? You're wasting another one by sitting on your ass and twiddling your thumbs. The team is trending down big time buddy, DO SOMETHING. FOR ONCE, DO SOMETHING. /salt tirade.
It's time to admit it. Harden can't be our full time PG. His passing is too 'predictable' at times, a good defensive team can read the passing lanes and completely neutralize Harden's play making ability. We need another legit PG on this team.
Read my post before u actually use it as a quote, "Chill the fk out and please stop btching about Harden's TO like that's the ONLY thing that's gonna make us lose in playoffs." Harden TO is a problem of course, but shouldn't be the only things you fake fans btch about.
Gordon and Anderson just had no confidence tonight . They didn't take the open 3's that harden generated for them . Maybe that's the Bucks length . We need a better plan for when teams sell out to stop the 3 . Gordon had defenders faked and running past him , he should have taken it to the rack . To Ryan's credit , he did this a bit and usually got his dirk shot off . Dekker and Ariza went cold . Gordon and Anderson didn't pick up the slack enough. Harden didn't have as good of a second half as he did a first... Understandable considering that #1 He singlehandedly carried us in the first half and #2 he turned his ankle right at the half ... That's an awful time to turn it .... Sure he can get treatment , but he has to keep it loose to play in the second half instead of resting like everyone else. We should have gone to the post more . Capela and nene looked very solid there tonight . Another thing we might have to do against these bigger teams is play big . Use Harrell at the 4 , he can make Parker work inside and has the quickness and length to guard him outside . Playing big is a good idea especially if Gordon/ bev is having a trash game ... In this case it was Eric . James Ariza Dekker Harrell Clint Should have been used for a stretch . If the Bucks play dellavedova or terry then James has an easy two points . If they try to match us by going big and playing Brogdon / snell then we are still going to outsize them . Overall dissapionting , but what killed us more than anything is that Gordon and Anderson just looked like p*****s tonight . Gordon had the ball straight taken from him by terry . Anderson let a pass from harden hit him in the leg and watch the Bucks go down for the dunk . Live ball turnovers killed us and though James obviously bears some fault , there were quite a few for which he was blameless . The Bucks have great talent and when they hit their shots and get out on the break they are going to beat the best of teams ...
No, he's a great passer when he wants to be. His problem is that he simply gets too lazy with the basketball, you can almost sense when he's about to turn the ball over just by watching how he moves as he goes into the set. It's a problem, yes. One he will have to fix if the Rockets are going to beat the elite teams in the west.
This was a game Harden should have taken over offensively because the rest of the team was off tonight. Yeah the turnovers hurt but not as much as the missed 3 pointers, I think. You can't try to make Hail Mary prayer assist when you are already down and on top of that everyone is missing their shots. At least he has faith in his teammates, I DON'T. 8 minutes into the 4th quarter he should have been driving and trying to draw fouls and kicking the rock out only if they were open. At least three to four possessions in the 4th quarter alone were turnovers. Hard to get defensive stops when your defense isn't set.
D'antoni said it right and directly. The other team was very desperate. Rockets weren't. That's the bottomline of this game.
I wonder if anyone bet on this tonight : The Rockets losing to the Bucks The Cavs losing to the Pelicans ... without Anthony Davis. The Warriors losing to the Heat Terrence Jones going off for 36 and 11
I don't think he is lazy, but was more tired in this game. He really tried at defense, just his team let him down except Bev.
