Sure human nature can make us weak in certain moments, I don't disagree. It takes a special type of self-awareness to fight against human nature sometimes. Most folks don't have it and that includes pro trump and anti trump folks. So **** like that works for and against them easily.

you get the feeling and only this country? are you mad, open your eyes friend. you are ignoring the billions of people on this rock who created and believe in an invisible authoritarian dictatorship floating in the sky. I hope now you get more than just a feeling.

The apparent willful ignorance of Trump supporters is astonishing.

Don't believe what your eyes tell you.

We are not talking about Iran or Saudi here, we are talking about the United States of America. I always believed over whelming majority of people in this country would not let a dictator rule this country, but after this election, I can see how it was possible for someone like Hitler take over a democratic Germany, it was because many people do not really believe in Democracy. I do not believe Trump is another Hitler, but the voting public do not give me confidence that we will not one day elect a David Duke or Hitler down the road as president.

you completely missed my point. you can't believe in democracy and believe in god(non-democratic, authoritarian, dictatorship), yet billions of people on this planet pretend to. so i for one absolutely believe that a majority religious nation could elect a dictatorship because they yearn for it.

I suppose many theologians would dispute your conception of god as an authoritarian dictator, but it sounds to me like you may be on to something.

What a tragedy in the White House. If Dems had run an actual donkey against Trump instead of Hillary, he would have lost and the country would be better off.

Trump definitely represents the potential for a great tragedy. But greater blame should be placed directly at the feet of the republican party, they kept voting for him instead of other better and more qualified candidates throughout a long primary process. And regardless of what you think about Hillary Clinton, most Democrats voted for her... almost all republicans voted for Trump, and its those republican votes that resulted in the tragedy in the White House.

I blame talk radio. 100%. No hyperbole. They're the ones that started this whole "establishment vs. non-establishment" rhetoric, and that's how Trump was nominated.

Boehner played golf with the President?? WE MUST DESTROY HIM!!!!!!111

Apparently it does work on the stupid people, as demonstrated repeatedly in this thread.

So maybe Trump isn't such an idiot.
