It's not like Trump's policies have been a secret. They have a very good idea about what his policies will be because Trump has been campaigning and making all sorts of promises about what he was going to do. In one day of his presidency he's ordered a cutback in healthcare with the ACA, and signed an order to favor mortgage brokers and big banks over the middle class home buyer. Looking at how many millions are gathering around the nation and even elsewhere around the world, these folks are pretty united... but they are united against Trump and the reduction of healthcare, etc. If you listen to the speeches at any of these rallies, they have everything to do with the women's rights. And people don't want to see those rights removed. Trump has already promised to do everything in his power to remove women's right to choose. Far more people showed up in DC for this march than did for the Inauguration. More people in this nation voted for someone other than Trump than voted for him. He comes in without the support of the majority of the voters. It is his duty to show that he can bring them on board and represent everyone. He's not done that in any way so far, in word or action. Let him make policy decisions and appoint people that will represent their interests. So far Trump has done none of that.
Just heard that the DC march had to change their plans because of the huge crowd. It more than doubles the amount of people there for the inauguration yesterday. Now, they are saying that attendance set a record for most people ever at a march related to the inauguration. There are also marches in Argentina, Rome, London, etc. It seems that all of the marches are exceeding the amount of people that were expected to be at the marches. This is quite a demonstration. We'll have to see how many of these people stay active after today.
The perfect response. I hate the whole "Do something locally instead of whining and complaining." message some throwout. As if you can't march AND be active politically all within the same year.
I love how Fox News is doing their BEST to ignore these marches. Saying they are just sore losers and not showing Unity. LOL. Why should show Unity when try has YET to apologize for things he have said. **** him. If he can't "lower" himself to apologize to the people who didnt vote for him (the majority of the country), then he can screw himself.
Yep, exactly. These folks "whining and complaining" is using their constitutional right of free speech. They can also definitely get active as well as protest. It actually seems more usual for people who go through the effort to protest to also get active and do things locally. Of course we are all still waiting for the violent riots, in Los Angeles, DC, Chicago, NY, Denver, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Sacramento, and elsewhere. Because that's the norm and accepted way for liberals. There are 600 cities that are having marches today.
I would have thought so, but she was hilarious when she cussed on live television. That was hilarious.
Keep searching the isolated extreme statement or picture... with millions of people marching, I am sure there will be a few. Won't take away the bigger story, as much as you and other Trump supporters hope to ignore or downplay. Many people believe the President and government represents ALL of the United States, including those that did not vote for Trump.
Just lol at the crowd size comments. Doesn't matter one bit. The left clearly has a larger number of professional protesters! And the implications of all this? Great news for Hillary Clinton? Bwaaahahahaha.
I'm am absolutely shocked so many people are trying to undermine democracy. For over 200 years American has been a shining example to the rest of the world with democratic, peaceful, transitions of power. Regardless, I'm not impressed for several reasons. 1) The unhappiest are usually the loudest but that doesn't represent an overall majority necessarily. We shouldn't be fooled by that fact but the media will be and use it to build/continue their narrative. 2) Social issues are not that important right now. This election was won on SECURITY. Financial security and national security being what millions of voters care about right now. No one is saying that social issues aren't important but they're not as important right now for millions. Think of what you are asking people to do. You want them to care about someone else's rights and ignore their husbands, wives, kids well being and future. That will never happen and that's why libs lost. You care about everything else except the plight of the working American and they won't follow you on that. Help them take care of their own first and then you'll see them support others. Not saying it's right or wrong just saying that's what it is.
Meh, I just don't think people should care one way or the other about a bunch of idiots making asses of themselves because they can't get over losing an election. They'll keep whining like b****es as long as people keep paying attention to them, ignore them and maybe they'll just get tired of being sad, pathetic bastards and go back to their lives.
Just heard the estimates are that Trump got more fat chicks to walk in one day than Michelle Obama's health kick did in 8 years
1.) The majority of voters voted for Clinton. 2.) Social Issues are important for millions, you just are dismissing them. It seems like YOU don't care about what these people care about and just want to completely dismiss them.
Another person that is just interested in dismissing their concerns and thinks politics is a "Winner Takes All" game. It isn't. These people have every right to march and protest and if you took a moment to listen you'd hear them speak out on REAL issues like Planned Parenthood and women's right to choose. Your opinion on this is that they all are idiots, dummies, whiners. It really is NO different from the liberals that called Trump supporters idiots, dummies, etc etc.
