We just need to hit 3's or stop taking them. eGod has become eBrick. Too early to tell how this will effect us.

I really don't know what people were expecting out of this team as built. The Dmo loss is really starting to show at this point. Nene is a back up at this point of his career and Capella is not where we need him to be just yet. Harell is good but all three of these players are totally expendable at this point. How far did anyone actually think we were going to go without another star? We're just another above average team at this point and we are definitely far from where we need to be to contend. We've definitely exceeded expectations but did anyone actually think this team could beat a team with 4 stars. There has to be a disgruntled star out there that we can trade for without messing with our core guys.

The schedule is finally taking it's toll on the team and a few of our dudes are banged up or out of commission too. Capela is still rusty. It's hard enough to win with a healthy team in the NBA but when you have two of your top 3 dudes injured and a starter who is just coming back from a broken leg its going to be an uphill battle, especially against the likes of Golden State.

We just need to get these dudes healthy and hope that we can start peaking again after the all-star break, we will have a home heavy schedule and more rest days in between games.

The sky isn't falling, fat lady isn't singing anything, the Rockets are who they are supposed to be considering the current circumstances.

I agree it is still too early. I think they should have let Gordon rest his toe for another game. I think the problem with sports is they play a guy when he is still half injured which makes his recovery so much slower. I think Gordon has become a huge part of why we were winning. I don't want playing him be the reason we take him out of his rythem completely.

On the upside Dekker had a good game. Hopefully he can trend back up to being how he was earlier this season. The bench is a huge part of the Rockets success.

We've played 3 or 4 more games in less time than the teams we're chasing. No need to go overboard about your midseason feelings about the team. This team is built to easily make the playoffs and we should be worried how we look in our last 20 games, not the middle. This isn't last year where we were barely staying afloat.

This is a pretty good team, but it's not a great team. They played over their heads and surprised people the first 40 games. Back to reality.

This. With his streaky Rocket shooters are, something like a 5 game losing streak is within the realm of possibility. The GARM will be absolutly insane.

Again, we all assumed the Rockets during their massive streak had great consistent shooters but at the end of the day they were in an extended shooting streak.

Time to stop chucking up 40 threes a game. This team doesn't have the personnel to do this. Only one team in the league does and it ain't the Rockets and even they shoot less thread than the Rockets.

Please, please go on about Dmo and how he would've turned the tide? I mean he is playing big minutes for a bottom dueling team correct?

Exactly. we have no answer "Plan B" when 3's don't fall and teams will let Brewer sit and the corner all by himself and brick shots all night. Trade deadline cometh

You mean in theory. In reality, his play so far is validating the physical being failed. Have you seen that he's like 3rd string C/PF for Pelicans right now, doing little to nothing. Compare his production to Varejao when he held out as an RFA until mid-December at age 25 just like DMo. He was producing Day 1, like he always did.

DMo might recover and bounce back, but he wouldn't be helping us right now....that's been proven by what NOLA is doing with him.

His last two games are essentially DNP-CDs except for blowout garbage time. And the games that led to his benching were pretty bad. If he was ready, he'd be getting more C minutes, since Asik is getting DNP-CDs for like 10 games now.

Might also be the half a year of no real game or pre game experience.

Working out all the time does not help playing consistently good team ball.

THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!

NOW, IF YOU WANT TO CROWN THEIR ASS, THEN CROWN THEM BUT THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!

Good thing they don't hand out MVP & COY trophies in November! ;)
