Are you afraid of something happening on Inauguration Day?

I heard they were handing out Obama Phones during his inauguration. Thousands of folks went for the welfare phones!!

 

So glad Republicans control everything. We can finally get things done our way.

 

Nobody is going to claim that there were more people for this inauguration than for the one that involved the nation's first black president. That was such a huge honor, and rightfully had massive crowds. But to suggest that the Trump inauguration was empty because it didnt compare to Obama's is assine. Your tears are delicious...

 

Weather is probably a bigger driver of turnout than who the president is.

 

To a certain extent, sure, but back when Obama was first elected he was seen as damn near a deity by a LOT of people. As such, I don't think those numbers will be outdone any time soon by a mere mortal. Unfortunately turnout means absolutely nothing though. Record turnout didn't lead to a good president and very low turnout wouldn't mean that a president would be bad.

What they do and what they fail to do will determine how good or bad a president is.

I merely pointed out that a common marker (red tower) indicates the crowds depicted in the 2 pictures are roughly consistent, and therefore DD's picture (the "big picture") is at least consistent with the one you put up.

It would be funny if only liberals cared about it and made a way bigger deal than necessary but that is all washed away by the fact that the MAGA cheif cares even more about these things.

So in essence liberals are going to troll Trump the next 4 years by overblowing petty trivial things because it ACTUALLY irks Trump. Obama didn't give two ***** when people b****es about a latte salute or that he's some secret Muslim. He never responded to that type of rhetoric minus a few minor quips because it just didn't bother him.


It's funny because it actually disturbs him. He probably actually is quite butt hurt that Obama recieves a larger crowd at his inaguration.
