Let's hope he's sober for the interviews. It's embarrassing to see him blitzed. Either way, will be fun to see him get his due.
I think they stream it on their website. I don't think you have to log in to view it but I could be wrong.
Liquor and cocaine. Bruh can't grow up, **** it with all of that money though. I still lulz when I remember one of our trips when I saw him in Aspen and his GF/ now I believe wife noticed my X and they started talking since they knew each other. Dude was downing Boilermakers at 10am, was barely coherent and was kind of a douche because he wasn't getting enough attention. He was cool with me but a major pouty **** to his girl.
I think him getting the potential of induction is hopefully a wake-up call. He was in awful shape in 2015... to the point where people were literally fearing whether or not he'd get to this point. He has a history of some major demons... mostly self-inflicted. Hopefully he can get a nice boost with this sort of news.
Now that I can check, you can watch the announcement online without having the network. You have to go to the HOF homepage and there is an article with a link to watch it live. If you go to MLB Networks page to watch clicking their Watch Live link requires you to sign in with a provider. I am sure they will have a free link on their site too it just wasn't up when I checked.
His wife (the former Mrs. Michael Brown, you probably remember him) and her well known substance abuse issues sure doesn't help things on his end. Hope they've both gotten better. She pretty much disappeared from the Houston scene once her and Bags hooked up. Pic above just looks like a great time and I remember Ashby going dead silent while Blum played hard on that shot.
Or the worst. I was honestly disgusted. This was the drugged out married chick he was cheating on his wife with. He needs to grow up.
Hey Now, you tweeted (or were tagged in) a great counter-arguement regarding Baggy's power #s in New Britain. I can't find it anywhere. Could you post it again? Would like to show it to a friend.
It's funny, with all the amazing things Bagwell has accomplished in his career, the image I always associate with him is him busting ass around 2nd base heading to 3rd on singles. The guy was such a professional of the game and did so many little things well. He was one of the few guys that made me actually pay attention to the intricacies of baserunning and how it affects the game. I will be so happy for him when he gets in. And I'll add my kudos, Hey Now. Amazing, amazing job.
Couldn't agree more. I've been trying to find the video of his walk off slap hit to right field where his shoulder was about to fall off. It was a pinch hit, I believe. Can still picture it.
