It was only a matter of time before the injury ridden players we relied on and took. a chance on showed their face again. First a toe, now an ankle.

This is a different team when Gordon plays well.

Here's to hoping he proves the critics who said he'll be in street clothes again this season wrong.

Frankly, even if he misses games, he's worth $12m. I can't imagine why people would expect that Anderson and Gordon would be healthier than they have ever been, it doesn't make sense. I just factored it in, didn't bother being frustrated about it. Don't let an eventuality get to you. If they do better than the past, it's truly a bonus.

If he needs the game off, let him take the game off. Jazz have a long way to go to catch us. They're 4.5 games behind. They might maybe get close over the next 5, but after that we're looking at perhaps the easiest schedule in the league. Clippers lost Paul for 6-8 weeks. Spurs are going to build a few games cushion over us these next couple of weeks.

Let's not panic about losses at this difficult point. I kept saying people need to anticipate the team hitting a wall and not to forget that our winning % is above what we were expecting. You can't get mad about something not highly exceeding your own expectations. They are tired, teams now have a fuller scouting report on our offense, and these guys have done a monumental job despite terrible schedule.

We're really really good. We should be happy, and just be smart about injuries and rest when it's necessary. We will be back on our feet after this next 4 out of 5 nights stretch. If we can pull out 2-3 wins, we'll be in great shape.

    "Commence."

In any case, we've been lucky so far that he's been this healthy.

Wrap him in cotton wool and sugar candy and save him for the playoffs. Rockets going to stream roll everyone 16-0

Dantoni said it in his post game conference. Ankle injury, probably nothing serious but unlikely to play tonight.

Is this the same ankle he tweaked earlier in the year? Damn, that all-star break can't come soon enough for the Rockets.

I don't think it's any coincidence that we're seeing this happen as he was pressed into more..outside his role...loss of CC (now Anderson)....

..and the toe before the ankle.

The guy has exceeded expectations on this team. What we need to do is give him some help off the bench .

Agreed. We're basically running two 1 star units and asking Harden/Gordon to create everything whenever they are on the court. We really need to upgrade this roster.

I'd complain but then again this is 100% better than last year where we had only 1 legitimate shot creator on the team.
