I don't mind the folks not attending. I am not a fan of them going to a protest instead like the rep Green from Houston is doing. I am sure Sheila Jackson Lee will get some TV time soon as well with her decision on whether to attend or not.

If Trump had conducted himself with class and dignity, he wouldn't be Trump.

Weirdly enough, he also wouldn't be (hrp!)....wouldn't....oh, God (hrp!)...President-elect (BLAAAAAAAARF!)

Reality-TV President. Where people find out too late that Reality TV doesn't (or shouldn't) go hand-in-hand with reality.

Reality TV President with Cable TV debating.

The lesson from this thread is that slights are remembered by Their Side and forgotten/dismissed/encouraged by Our Side.

The public would be better off with leaders disagreeing respectfully, but politicians who don't get rewarded for their misbehavior.

This is true, it is pretty amazing the number of people in this country who loves his style, says a lot about this country as well.

None with any integrity, there is no legitimate reason to vote for TRUMP, He is A DESPICABLE human, people turning away from his Truth to vote for him Willfully put this Republic at risk.

They allowed a Tyrant, the likes of which we have not seen since Hitler and they did it without researching the facts.

Sad day to realize that so many in this country are racist, mysoginist, ignorant or lazy.

I shook my head when the state of California elected a former bodybuilder turned action movie star as Governor. When they elected a former singer/comic/TV actor as congressman (and when he died skiiing into a tree, his widow). I shook my head when MIN elected a former wrester turned action star as Governor. When they elected a comic/SNL star as senator. I shook my head when Iowa elected Gopher from Love Boat as congressman.

I guess my head is all out of shakes now that the United States elected a WWF/reality TV star as President... but it is what it is, and out of respect for the office of President and my country, I support him as President. God helps us all...

    New Rox fan,

None of them are remotely as bad as Chump. I will never support him. He needs to be impeached.

He is the president, and we deserve him as a country be it good or bad, this is what this country is today. If people do not like him, they can vote him out in four years. For all the people who did not vote or regret their vote now, all I have to say is election have consequences, deal with it.

And, any of them, in this forum or elsewhere across the country, who criticized Trump's answer to the 'would you accept the results of the election' question in the debate....just need to STFU. YThey have already made ytheir stance known, now they need to live with it. You can't criticize one for not accepting the results....then not accept the results yourself. Well, you can (clearly) but then your criticisms have no merit to them.

I highly doubt he will be impeached, maybe he is the disruptor this country need to see if this is really what we want as a country, if Republicans get all their wishes, will this country turn into Kansas?

I don't know what will happen, but the moment he steps into office he will be in a conflict of interest since he has not removed himself from his business interests. That doesn't mean he'll be impeached, but the possibility will exist from the very beginning.

If Democrats really want him to be impeached, they need to be careful and try and make everything an issue. People will get Trump fatigue, and stop listening if there's a new controversy every single day. They should make sure that when they go for it, they have all of the evidence they need, and move swiftly.

That is true, but the GOP is much more hypocritical as a party than the Democrats, so I doubt they will impeach him.

It means he won't be impeached, when the evidences do surface. Conflict of interest? We already knew that.

This is not unique to Trump. With Obama, I asked multiple supporters of his, during the election, 'Yes, we can....what?'. Not a single one of them could answer. Politics has long (always?) been about how you feel about a candidate. This also explains the visceral reaction of those opposed to Trump, not just his supporters.

For the small percentage complaining about the election results, yes. (Please see many posts in this very thread explaining that most acknowledge Clinton lost and that's that.)

But for the vast majority of us just worried about Trump's behavior as leader of the free world, about a con man's schtick applied to our very lives, hell no. We're not going to STFU unless he transforms into a respectable, inclusive, moderate leader. (Maybe when Hell freezes over, maybe before, I hope.)

Arnold was pretty accomplished even outside his movie career. He ran a few businesses. He went from nothing to being a millionaire. He was definition of the American Dream. I don't know who would be more qualified to run for office.

I hope that before you get so judgmental of others, you applied the same sense of respect for Obama as President and were just as critical of those that shouted out "Liar!" at the SOTU, or accused Obama as being a Muslim/non-citizen/Socialist, etc...
