It sucks we lost to the Heat today. But a few points to make #1) We never had a huge lead and blew it. Both teams battled the entire way. #2) This is a road game #3) Anderson didn't play #4) Capela played limited minutes #5) Gordon was off his game and looks like he's still favoring his toe. #6) We are not catching the Warriors and I am pretty sure the Spurs will end up with the #2 seed anyhow. As long as we keep the #3 seed by seasons end it won't matter if we win 60 games or 55 games. With Paul out 6 to 8 weeks now I don't see any teams taking the #3 seed from us.
are you serious after losing to the lowly and pathetic heat we have no choice but to tank. thats a burn i dont wanna watch the boys play through for the rest of the season. imagine klay going up to harden and saying **** like "hey i heard you guys lost to the heat. aren't you guys supposed to be better than us or something? oh btw im a better two way guard than you"
Yea, if teams can just go get an athletic 7 footer with a 7'7" wingspan and great shotblocking instincts then yea, anyone can exploit the weaknesses from this game
This thread is absolutely insane. Don't you know every loss is confirmation that the Rockets are destined for failure? That every loss must be met with complete meltdowns? This is how we Clutchfans.
For the record the Rockets still have a better winning percentage then the defending champions ( .725 vs .727 ) Losers dwell on wins, winners dwell on losses. This team is still exceeding all our expectations.
Well. Spurs lost to Phoenix. But then again Spurs didn't lose to Minnesota a few games before that with a loss to Memphis. So yea. Game counts 1 out of 82. We all knew Gordon was going to come back to earth. Had to. But I had hoped Anderson would start hitting. Maybe we are just in a funk. Most teams have a slow period in the season where they are ho hum. I will take it if it means in April bev, Gordon, ANDERSON will hit 40% of their 3's with harden and ariza at 37-38% or better and Brewer is cleaning someone else's bench. If we cool off now but hit a stride with those percentages come playoff time we will be dangerous and will make some noise. If, however, out gunners sink to 33-35% and Ariza Harden even lower. Well. Summer vacations will come early.
