http://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbad...d-on-new-1-billion-chase-center/#68c756db3b66 The Golden State Warriors destroyed the Cleveland Cavaliers 126-91 last night in a rematch of the last two NBA Finals match-ups. While fans celebrated the win, team ownership will celebrate another victory today when it breaks ground on their new $1 billion arena, Chase Center, set to open for the 2019-2020 season. Warriors brass, along with coach Steve Kerr, forward Kevin Durant and San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee are expected to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the venue located in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood.
Very nice facility, with some beautiful architectural lines...... With that being said, **** the Warriors.
Parking is gonna suck and traffic on the 101 getting to that area is already bad enough lol. Time to move out of sf.
Very nice! I like it more than the Bucks that is also set to open in 2019. That said I hope it never gets to celebrate a championship.
I waiting for the Pistons' Little Caesars Arena (not joking) to open, they better have $5 Hot and Ready in the concessions......
lol what??? If true thats going to be in the running for worst named stadium, along with smoothie king arena, talking stick arena and Guaranteed Rate Field. And that Giant little caesars logo on the arena has to be a joke right?
Well this rendering on Pistons' official website shows there is one http://www.nba.com/pistons/gallery/little-caesars-arena-renderings/
wow...pistons will put a cartoon on their stadium's roof? What a joke! I don't care much how it's called but how it looks matters.
Oh, they will. Per slice. Or per 2 slices, you know, try to market that as value. P.S. F*ck this stadium already.
yup, but hilariously its also where the phx suns play. http://www.talkingstickresortarena.com/teams/detail/phoenix-suns
I see they kept the ceiling low, that stadium will still be one of the loudest thanks to that brilliant idea.. it's like the sound has no where to go but straight onto th court!!! Dam you warriors!
