they don't really have players you can hate tbh. just their fanbase. mavs and rangers actually have players you can root against still hate em though!

Well part of it is that the Cowboys and Texans have almost zero impact on each other except once every 4 years. Mavs and Rangers are divisional rivals.
Outside of the Cowboys, Dallas isn't a "much better sports city".... Not sure why it is always brought up in Houston like it is a badge of shame... most the "great" sports towns are **** holes... Philly, Chicago etc. Know what towns are not "great" sports towns? Those with good weather where people can do things... like LA, SD, Hou, Miami and Phx...

So you're saying, "incuding the Cows, DAL is much better"? Besides football, DAL has twice as many sports, better attendance, and equal championships. DAL-HOU is a mismatch, sport-wise. This is a harsh reality of life that I've somewhat accepted, but hope isn't all lost.
