I want Savage cut, always injured and barely plays wtf!? Brock and the drafted rookie compete for starting job. The following year hopefully the rookie wins it and you can cut Brock. Or maybe he wins it next year if you're really lucky.
I want Brock traded along with a first rounder. Take an OL in the second and sign a QB in FA and draft another late.
How long does it take you to write a post like this? I mean, obviously you're grabbing a crayon with both hands and jabbing it into each key one at a time. So on one hand I'm impressed with your tenacity and your loquaciousness. But on another I'm alarmed by your stupidity. So what the dilly-o?
So Brock would cost you all that money and your 1st rounder?! No team would do that on either side. Better to pay Brock and a rookie for one year until you can cut Brock and hopefully the rook pans out.
If they roll with Brock again next year, I probably will just take a season off from watching ... ok probably not, but that is certainly how I feel right now
Savage is a waste of a roster spot (always hurt and will already be 27 y/o), cut ties now and roll with Rookie + Brock.
You're going to roll with 3 QBs. Savage is no more a waste of a roster spot than Brock. He does seem injury prone, but he hasn't had much of a chance to display durability.
Sorry for not clarifying but I mean Brock, Rookie, and Weeden, is the 3 we roll with. Then after we can trade/cut Brock we roll with Rookie and Weeden. I like Weeden because he knows the offense, he's a vet, a great option to bring along a rookie. In fact I would make Brock #3 behind Weeden and the rookie next year if I had my way. Brock is too mentally weak to be a mentor so Weeden has to and can do the job until the rookie is ready.
True but you're refusing to play with the cards you've been dealt which is not an option. You have to find the best solution with the cards you got and you can't fold.
