History would suggest this is right. In the past 20 years, the only time a team has beaten the Pats in the playoffs when their team gave up more than 21 points was with a prime Peyton Manning.
4th and short on the 40 and we pooch kick it. Should've been aggressive. With the way we're giving up deep throws, field position isn't worth much.
By themselves, no. But you combine two turnovers with an offense that can take advantage.... along with a special teams crew that doesn't give up big plays... and you may have a chance. The formula is there... but very few (if any) teams in the league can execute it.
No the offense isn't good enough. Can't expect too keep the Pats down under 20 points. Offense should have at least 21 or so points right now if they had a real QB.
Pats are too good - they just know how to make adjustments and exploit what was previously working. Only way we walk outta there w a win is w a defensive or special teams TD bc our offense just isn't potent enough w Brock back there.
No, it really hasn't. To beat the Patriots in the playoffs you can't give up over 21 points and have a realistic shot. Sure 7 of those are on the special teams being awful, but giving up 17 in less than 3 full quarters isn't going to cut it.
