He may actually average 4-5 assists with this team...
With these numbers he probably would be top5 in the league among power-forwards & centers (I mean ast category).

Don't forget he missed 8 months. He would be inconsistent for long period of time.

He decided our QO was too much and wanted the vets minimum...

    Lolololol.

If I saw Morey, I would ask him, "Didn't you know his back was shot? Why did you wait till then to release him? How much hope did you have that his condition would improve?" I don't think these are bizarre questions to ask. I think they are commonsense questions.

Meta talk: Sure I am asking layman questions and I am ignorant of the detailed technicality. That's why I want to find answers that make sense to a layman like me.

Back on topic: Buy now, I have no interest in DMo the player. It's pure curiosity. In my four decades of fandom, this DMo saga is one of the most bizarre things that have ever happened to the Rockets. Lots of things in there defied commonsense, mostly on DMo's side. I have given up trying to make sense of what DMo and BJ Armstrong were thinking. But I do expect Morey to make sense.

I know. :( A lot of stuff here should be in the GARM thread. But that thread has been closed. I'll quit discussing about DMo the Rocket now. TBH, DMo the Pelican is not very interesting to me.

I am morbidly interested now. Can't imagine he sees much playing time.

How does DMO beat out anybody on the Pelicans unless there is an injury? He is only marginally better than anyone above him on the depth chart. Also, his best skills require at least 2 people to be on the same page. There are a lot of selfish players on the Pelicans.

Only 7 minutes? I wonder why TJ got to play 34 minutes. He shouldn't even be in the NBA. It's like 2015 all over again.

Would be really nice to have a post player to go to when the offense slows down like this.

But I thought T _ones was the one who would be out of the league by now while DMo was a surefire starter on a playoff team.

We can speculate all we want. These teams have good risk assessment. Probably could not get insurance for dmo's contract. In the end he got true market value. It's like selling a house and it fails inspection.

That's better than his 0-7, 1 point, 3 rebounds in 19 minutes the previous game.

Apparently DMo was also a zero reward move, can't believe people are pining for DMo this season. He ain't ready to play this year.

Always said Bobby is great in his own opinion.

Never understood why there should be one vs the other, both guys could be role players, both showed.

Both had star potential but probably both are tad injury prone and they probably will not be great.

Except they got Anthony Davis in the middle, and we had moaning Dwert.

Wow. He's looking terrible after two strong games out of the gate.

No he had 1 decent game and 3 horrible games. His next game will be telling IMHO.
