The Grizzlies are built for the playoffs ball. Look how they choked the Warriors twice this year. Infact they outscored the warriors by almost 40 at one stage when they roared back from 24 down in Golden State and smashed then to pieces in Memphis. When they get their tails up their defense becomes scary. They choke the life out of teams.

The only thing that pissed me off about this game was they got out rebound by the Grizzlies. And most of them they got out rebound by 6'2 guards, WTF? The Rockets just stand there like idiots letting the Grizzlies beating them on the rebounds. And they to stop shooting too many 3's, it won't work all the time. Cut that up and make plays to settle for the 2's.

Have you ever considered watching a different sport? Or, maybe go watch some ballay or figure skating, golf even? One of duders favorite sports is pole dancing, and if you live in the Houston area there are several good venues I could recommend, seems like you might need to attend one of those events because it may just do you some good.

Oh, and bowling helps too, man. You don't need to be super athletic for that one.

Rockets next game after having consecutive days rest is Feb 7th... over 3 weeks from now.

We have 3 b2b's in the meantime and have had s*** scheduling the past 10 days.

We flew home from Canada to play one damn game, then traveled back to damn-near Canada (MIN) for a b2b.

    Bull**** scheduling

I think it's MDA's fault. Did he ever call a timeout when our 15 point lead was disappearing?

Some of us have been saying that Morey needs to shore up his bench and get rid of players whom the coach won't even look twice. Get a dang big that bang in the paint, and another guard.

This is not an over reaction after 2 consecutive losses, as this was opined when we seemed unbeatable.

    Just get it done.

He may be waiting til February when a lot of teams are prepared to officially start going for ping pong balls. The asking price could be less.

And for those lamenting the trade of Troy Daniels, do you guys not remember how awful he played to start the 2014-15 season? McFail gave him a chance, but the dude couldn't make open shots.

If this is Morey's plan then we better really lower our expectations because the Feb. deadline of years past have been more a whimper than a bang.

You can save the cap for the off chance a superstar / star player signs with us AFTER the season is done (IMO a very iffy event based on recent history) or you can try to get solid pieces to improve what is already a very good team for a really good chance to contend. Looking ahead to the playoffs, we will be the underdog against San Antonio, the Warriors, Memphis and the Cavaliers. This team needs to be on a more equal footing with those teams if it wants to real contend for a ring.

This year is going great, next year, who knows. Strike when the iron is hot.

Thats still great usage of D-League. Build a player from the scrap pile, create value and deal for an established NBA player. One that led one of the best playoff comebacks ever. It worked out great in the short term and in long term memories.
