Yeah I just remembered whats up with that calling Dwight a p***y than doing something even more pathetic. Even worse GSW has the best record but is 0-5 against the best teams in the L. Its like setting them up to crash and burn in the playoffs.
This question shouldn't be asked. Instead we should tell Harden we're bringing in _______________ and MDA will meld _______________ and you into champions.
I hope so. And btw, just for the record, i'd still gladly take him here obviously, cause that would help the Rockets, but i can't lie, my respect for him has definitely dropped.
Dwert lost half of his athleticism, KD will gradually decline and probably gracefully, not immediately.
Not one single GM would say No to KD if KD said he wanted to go there in free agency. It's all about if KD will make a team better. KD is one of the all time best shooters. Certainly a much bigger threat than Ariza. As for cap space concerns, most championship teams manage to get 2-3 all star level max contract to work. Lebron's team, GSW etc. I do not believe Morey cannot manage to accommodate 2 max contracts while keeping our bench intact. Don't let personal feeling blind your basketball judgement.
If you want to say GSW doesn't have a better record compared to last year. It's like I said, they have too many all stars. And Curry and Thompson were in shooting slump. You can't fault KD for open shots not falling for those 2 guys.
well his best option last offseason was the sixers, but now it looks like the nets should be his #1 choice.
Agree with this. I GET why he went to Golden State, but it was easily the biggest chicken move a superstar has ever made. Lebron doing a super friends team-up in Miami wasn't even close to what Durant did. Durant basically said "I'm not good enough to beat the Warriors so I want to join the greatest team in history." Add to that the reports that he was talking to Draymond WHILE THEY WERE COMPETING AGAINST EACH OTHER about teaming up? Total crap.
That would make sense if they got swept by them, but they almost won so your reasoning why he left is just bad. In Golden State he got better teammates, better city, better chance of winning, same role, almost same money. Any reasonable person would join Warriors in his situation and Houston Rockets don't offer any advantage over them so this thread is just pointless.
His current contract is basically a 1 year contract. No long term commitment was made. Curry is bound to get a mega contact offer this summer. Warriors is also a little too "crowded" with stars. So at least, there's a chance KD may not choose to stay.
Looking back KD best destination besides GS was houston all along and he didn't even give us a meeting. We have the 3rd best record in the NBA and only 2.5 games back from the team KD signed with and we only have harden and thy have KD/curry/klay/green. I'm not a KD fan I think he's a choker, but his game fits perfect with harden and this offense.
I think tonight's games showed us we need another all star player to hang with top teams such as Warriors and Cavs. Rockets rely on Harden way too much.
