Perfect example of schedule loss. Loss doesn't mean much at all. On to the next game

Harrell is getting a shot at PT becuase nene is out .

Before this game , Dekker hadn't played more than 20 min a game in 5 games . Brewer has been stealing minutes from him .

I agree , probably the coach is making the right call . We don't see practice and that's huge . I just think that for certain games and certain scenarios ( like this game ) he should have expanded the rotation.

Not much to be embarrassed about. Rockets are still one of the top teams in the league regardless of the loss

They had to play extra tired but that's happening so often lately. This was bound to happen.

Meh, a loss was expected due to missing two starters and Rox already having a hard time against long, athletic rosters. The Rox roster is really young but we we're like an old team in that we get overwhelmed by athleticism and length at times. With Gordon and Capela out we need a great game from Anderson to win a game, when he shoots poorly like this we lose.

Like other posters have said, MDA should've realized the game was done and gave more minutes to the young guys WIltjer, Chinu and maybe even KJ. Then again given how the Rox have always been coming back maybe MDA was hoping for a miracle, too bad we don't have the personnel to do it lol.

The Rox have earned some slack for winning 9 games prior this. Time to rest up and be ready against the Grizzlies. To me, it does show how the Rox are still a piece or two away from being a legit champ. We don't have enough talent yet to compete with GSW, SAS and CLE for 7 games. Morey needs to get somebody good at either the trade deadline or the offseason.

A loss was due considering playing 24 hours after a high intensity game against the Hornet and with no Gordon in the line up, yeah it happens. Most likely thing is If EG played we probaly could have won this game.It is also a good reality check for these guys. These god damn poor starts are what is holding this team back from demolishing teams.

No Capela. No Gordon. Second game of a back to back. Road game.

    Not surprised with the outcome.

I can not be down on this team after one bad loss on a back to back missing 2 key starting players (including our 2nd leading scorer) against a young, healthy, Wolves team on the road. Especially since they're in the midst of an amazing Cinderalla season that has shattered even the most optimistic fan's expectations, they just won 9 freaking games in a row guys! They were close for most of the game, they just looked gassed in the 2nd half and missed shots they usually make and the Wolves were hitting theirs, it happens.. I think this team has earned some leeway after what they've done so far.

You know what, I kind of agree with tha assessment, but I feel players will get their chance with how they perform in practice, how they play in garbage minutes, and how they are on the bench(attitude wise). Ennis has had plenty of chances and stinks. Brown, early in the season against the Cavs had a chance and blew it. And KJ has not been good in garbage time.
Plus, for the first time in years, I actually trust the decisions D'Antoni has been making, which more times than not has resulted in wins.

This same T-Wolves team went into Golden State last season and put up 124 pts on them in a winning effort. You know, the 73-9 Warriors?

These things happen, you can't win them all. What's really amazing and awful is how Minnesota remains at the bottom of the standings despite having some talented players.

Mostly agree . I'm not saying dantoni was wrong . I'm just saying that this would have been a good chance to give those players a bit of motivation .

Ennis ( shockingly) looked pretty good the last game action he got. KJ looked good earlier in the season and then lost out . Ever since then any PT he has gotten has been with the trash unit . I know KJ hasn't played particularly smart or unselfishly during those minutes but you'd have to imagine he'd alter his mindset if he was playing with James or the game was tight and he was playing with better players .

I think KJ is an idiot for playing the way he has during recent garbage times , but I also don't think he's doing it to be an ass . He probably has it in his mind to "be aggressive " and he's just not being smart about it .

So much of basketball is situation based , that's why you have players break out with certain teams etc.... Of course a lot of it is on the player too .

My nitpick is what it is ... A nitpick . We've done very well his season , but I always err on the side of wanting to expand the rotation and give players opportunities because the season is a marathon and the more bodies you can throw in a game the better ... Especially if you can manage it so that the end of the bench is not entirely awful .

It's one thing to have to play @ Minny the next day after a home game, but the NBA made the Rockets do this twice? Absolute garbage

I actually felt the same way about Isaiah Cannan 2 years ago in regards to PT while in the doghouse.
Second, this is why we need another guard/wing who can score or shoot with D like Korver via trade and maybe another PG to be set.
Third, KJ did play well to start the season.
