Benedict Cumberbatch's dance card is quite full. I suspect that he gets paid much more for movies than Sherlock.

Save for that last line, that trailer had a much different tone than most of the first three seasons. I'll be curious if it's just how they cut it or if the show is planning to get a little darker. Either way I'm excited for new Sherlock!

Going by old releases, it'll be on PBS mystery theater around 8pm, then replayed at like 11 or midnight. Amazing how they get all that and the other British drama/mysteries, while BBC America gets rubbish

    Just saw the latest episode.
i still wonder how Moriarty is going to figure into all this. I waited all episode for him just to pop up.

Watched it on the PBS website.

It was not nearly as good as previous episodes. Pretty ordinary.

I think they tried to give the season a good story that needs a lot of set up, so they made this episode too ambiguous. Generally disappointed

    Agreed.

The hour and a half format worked good in the beginning. Now it feels like there is too much filler. This particular episode could have been summed up in half the time.

The last 30m or so felt pretty gripping, but still was kind of a botched episode. Hopefully things pick up in the second episode, as IMO that was the case last season too. It went from mystery thriller to I guess spy thriller and it needs work.

I was pretty dissapointed in the first episode that it had to do again with the past of Mary and spies. Until the aquarium scene..but the end was so good. Now him facing the consequences of his arrogance and the strain of their relationship will be very interesting to explore.
Also loved the misdirection with the Moriarty.

Episode 2 was great, at least the ending. Maybe we finally see Moriarty's end game.

    Wow. I wonder if

watson is dead? Probably not. Lol when the therapist was there in the beginning, i knew she looked familiar. I was like isnt this the woman he slept with? How the hell did he not recognize her?

I wasn't happy with the plot (without going into details). It seemed contrived. I wonder if the producers are trying to get us to hate Sherlock, so that when it's gone, there won't be too big a fuss. That's how much I disliked the episode.
