People said the same thing about Obama and Trump is no different when it comes to being a petty and vindictive person.
I know how you feel about Obama and no one is going to change your mind. My only ask is just let him go. He's gone in a few days. Bye Obama. History. Now, Trump... today... now.
Don't get it twisted, I'm glad he's about to be gone, just like I'm sure whenever Trump is on his way out we'll both be happy about it. I'm just trying to explain to you that Trump is in many many ways just a mirror image of Obama. So when you freak out about Trump, just know that we've seen it before.
I wouldn't be predicting the demise of Trump. This guy did what I thought was impossible. I thought he had zero chance to be our next President, but look what happened. Because I didn't like Trump, I assumed others saw him as I saw him. I learned a lesson, and will not be underestimating this guy in the future. Oh, and CNN won't stop covering Trump. And Trumps supporters just love that he called out CNN.
You don't really have to bring up Obama when talking about Trump. We got Trump now and Obama is gone very soon. Of course they are nothing alike, but even if they are, who care. But like I said, you won't change your mind and it's a waste of time talking about Obama with you. You have a thing for Obama. So, again, just give it up. You can do it. Or maybe you aren't capable of releasing him from your mental being. Your choice.
Clearly I do though. We still have people on the left down on their knees sucking him off just for waking up in the morning and then at the same time those same people are wiping their mouths and freaking out when the next embarrassment does similar things to what Obama has done in the past. Also, it's funny that with Obama on the way out, you don't want him mentioned anymore unless it is in a positive, yet your boy kept Bush's name in his mouth for nearly his entire 8 year presidency blaming him for everything wrong with the country. Sorry guy, you are going to have to hear about Obama's screw ups even after he's out of office. It's just how it goes.
Actually, you are wrong. Trump is in a very few ways a mirror image of Obama. Those who think otherwise are in a very small minority. Most Americans don't support him, and the world's opinion of him is extremely negative. And yes, I'm taking the world's opinion into consideration here b/c they have full exposure to Trump - and to past Presidents. They know what an absolute dick he is. I understand the point you're trying to make. You know, in many ways, if you think about it, Brock Osweiler is a mirror image of Tom Brady.
What I find funny is that you could be talking about either Trump or Obama here with this exact statement.
I don't think we'll have time to reflect on Obama's screw-ups. You got Trump in there, who's going to suck up every ounce of time with all the ****ed-up things he's going to do. It's really laughable how this relatively small segment of the world views Obama as the worst President, or a bad one. The majority of the world doesnt' agree with them, most Americans don't agree with them, the history books won't agree with them... they'll just be this flyspeck on the map. Then, when Trump completes his almost-certain horrendous first term, half of them will be wishing they had someone like Obama. The other half.... well, you know them. So funny to see them have to stretch so hard to find stuff wrong.
Ridiculously wrong. President Obama has an extremely favorable view worldwide. And it's going to get even better when he's compared to his successor. We're all going to feel extremely bad for being hyper-critical on George W. Bush.
You're really comparing America's view of Obama and Trump? You think they're equal? What are ya, drunk?
C'mon man, trying to convince yourself that most Americans agree with Obama is part of why so many got so shocked about Trump winning. I know that people sometimes create echo chambers in order to feel like everyone thinks the same way that they do, but it's not healthy. If most Americans truly agreed with Obama then they wouldn't have been ensuring that his party had as little power as possible for his entire presidency. If he was half as popular as some people convince themselves that he is than the Democrats would have some kind of control over something wouldn't they?
People view him as a pushover and a joke, and there are a lot of people who like seeing a world superpower be ruled by a pushover.....but that's not exactly what you want to have. We'd be better off with someone truly respected and not just well liked because he's weak. Trump sure as hell isn't that person, but it doesn't make Obama look better.
It doesn't make sense. But that's him for you. Makes complete sense most of the time and then comes up with ridiculous stuff. Don't worry about this at all. The media doesn't have it out for Trump because he won. Most of the liberals don't have it out for Trump because he won. Most of those who have it out for him do so because he's a complete ******* immature ****. I tried and tried and tried to give him a chance, and he continues to be a dick. And I'm not saying, "give him a chance!' anymore. Once he stops being a total dick, I'll reconsider.
LOL, it's okay man, I know that you are a true Democrat and there's no way you'd have an impartial view of Obama.....which is why he still has a 90% favorability rating among Democrats despite averaging under 50% for his time in office (48% to be exact). When 90% of Democrats agree on something, it's REALLY easy to form an echo chamber that will lead to people thinking that EVERYONE agrees with something and it's pretty clear that is what happened here.
Bobby has a thing for Obama. Maybe Obama killed his brother or something. Whatever the case, I'm no longer interested in reading or replying anything about Obama with Bobby. As for Trump, he is who he is. Now that he's in power, you can see it clearer by the days. The excitement, and there is some, that I have is what the hell is going to happen. Trump, with the way he is, could be a source for shaking thing up so much that... TBD. I give it a 15% of great things happening, a 70% chance of nothing much crazy happening (other than going backward for a few years for progressive), a 15% of horrible things happening, to the point that it changes our institution for the better (meaning, we actually fk up so bad, we decided to change our government to protect ourselves from future Trump and maybe, just maybe, we all get along more).
BTW though, having one foot out the door and with Hillary and Trump being complete idiots during the election was the best thing that has happened to Obama's approval numbers. In fact during the end of the election was the first time his approval ratings went over 51% since March of 2010.
SMH. After all Jeff Zucker did for him? These hoes ain't loyal. At least CNN can still profit off of reporting Trump tweets, conflicts of interest, and scandal du jour. I guess that is another checkbox for Trump to tick in his copy of Authoritarianism for Dummies.
