Man, at the risk of being called a Harden Hater..

Harden was hunting for a triple double and it almost cost the Rockets. He could have easily got his triple through the run of play, but he was actively hunting for it and it derailed the offense. Harden was toying with his comp the whole game could have had this game finished much earlier.

And what is up with Harden not trying to get open on inbound plays? He just stands there. I'm assuming he wants the ball to lobed to him so he can use his body to get the ball? So, how come Ariza doesn't know what he is thinking if that is the case? Twice, Ariza has this "what the hell are you doing, James?" look on his face.

Whew! 1 game down and 5 more to go in the next 8 days, folks. Then...January 20th arrives. Trump's inauguration and a rematch at home against the Warriors. Big day, that January 20th.

Harden is a beast. I now have him equal second with Moses as the second greatest Rocket. If he wins MVP he will be a clear second.

Harden fuked up his +/- stat tonight because of that. somebody should tell him his RPM keeps dropping because of his lazy defense lately.

 

people stop crying about Harden, you have one of the greatest players in the game and you still sook after wins

he would have had his triple double earlier if his team mates could hit shots, he gives them enough looks as it is and keeps everyone happy

Everybody chases stats. I don't mind Harden doing it as long as Rockets get the W and he doesn't get injured.

 

They will talk about him only getting 1 OFFENSIVE rebound and saying he isn't trying hard enough.

Yes, Harden DID pass up a couple of open layups, but lets not kid ourselves here. Those were GREAT passes to WIDE OPEN shooters. Normally, our players hit that shot. They didn't and Hornets were hitting theirs. When it mattered though, Harden took the game in his own hands and won it.

 

That was insane, they went on a three point rampage in the 4th, even if we had them covered, they still hit the three
