This is why you replace Brewer mins. Other teams don't respect him defensively.

I dont expect a big move at the trade deadline.
The team has playing great, so I dont see Morey trading a starter, or our promising youth with cheap contracts.
I believe Morey will be trying to move Brewer and KJ, for an expiring to create more cap space for the next FA.
He will need to add a pick there because the other team will take both two years contracts.

Look at how far Brewer is behind the 3-point line above in post #1001. Actually Brewer is one of our
best half court shooters at end of quarters. Maybe he should start being further back and bunny hop
into the 3. I think he would be more accurate. His whole problem all this time is that's he needs to
    increase his range. Lol.

The more I think about it the more I wonder about the availability of gallinari. He's set to hit free agency via his player option and will likely conman a 20-25mill per contract.

He possibly could be that perfect "forgotten near all-star" like Gordon.

He's extremely long and could play both forward spots. He shoots the 3 at a very good clip(37%), including the corner(48%). He draws a good amount of fouls(6ft a game) and hits at a very good rate of (89%).

Seems a very solid get and a lesser Hayward. Being an expiring it could make the acquisition obtainable. I don't think many contending teams could outbid us (teams comfortable he would resign).

Dekker/kj/brewer is enough salary. Add our 1st and both 2nds. Maybe even a 3rd team to dump Kj somewhere.

I'm probably the most outspoken person on the matter (check sig) and I definitely agree. I think Ariza has enough respect to stay a starter, he's good. So Gallo would have to come off the bench, but that's fine. It really would give us this deadly roster of people with hot hands. The asking price for him is currently 'less than two 1st round picks', that is to say Denver wanted 2 1sts but from what I read, and I have no idea where I read it, his value is currently slightly lower than that.

We are a bit strapped right now with Capela being out. Montrezl has good trade value this day and could be used in such a trade but we couldn't do that without having someone to fill the 5, Nene can't do it all. I'm positive Montrezl and a 1st then matching salary gets it done. Imagine Gallo getting the looks Brewer gets- he won't be able to get those looks because teams know he's a threat from beyond the arc. He will get some, but he is a defense warping addition.

If we did that though we have to bolster the 5 until Capela gets back. So I propose we act swiftly to get both deals done. Philly doesn't need any more bigs but if we grabbed Noel (rookie contract and restricted) then our 2nd unit plays just like the 1st. Since they don't need bigs, offer Dekker, Wiltjer and 2nds to get him. Sign Gentile since we have the free space.

    Beverley/Ennis
    Harden/Gordon
    Ariza/Gentile
    Anderson/Gallinari
    Noel/Capela

There are many ways the team can shape up, I would like to see something like this. However our team is doing really really good right now. I don't know if we need to make big changes. If we did make this change though I think it's a win-now move.

Next season comes around you resign Gallo to what he wants, max cap however we can, then let Noel sign any RFA contract and match it. AFAIK you can go over cap to resign restricted free agents so we could use this to hold the team together.

    Great plan

Philly has plenty of guys like Dekker already.

They need a PG badly. If you could trade Dekker for a PG then deals like this could be possible.

Wonder if the Denver would take Dekker/Brewer/KJ 2 1sts for Nurkic/Gallo? I've got a feeling that a PG is going to be necessary to trade for Nurkic or Gallo. If anybody can figure out how to get a PG to do this trade, Morey is that guy.

An obvious target during the offseason for a trade would be DeAndre. If the Clippers continue their trend of a first round/2nd round loss, I can see CP3 bolting to San Antonio and Blake heading out to somebody like Boston or OKC. With them two out, the Clippers know DeAndre is not a franchise star and he'd want out, so theyd want pieces for the rebuild. Maybe we could put together a nice package that contains Capela or maybe Montrezl with Dekker, and also including some picks. DeAndre would make this current team an immediate threat to the Warriors to win the West to take on LeBron and the Cavs.

    Harden/FA Pickup
    Bev/Gordon
    Ariza/FA Pickup
    Ryno/Harrell (if Capela is included)
    DeAndre/Capela (If Harrell is included)

    HOU In: Babbitt, Williams
    HOU Out: KJ, Ennis.

    MIA In: Ennis, KJ
    MIA Out: Babbitt, Williams.

Add a couple 2nds, maybe Wiltjer or you could find a 3rd team for Brewer to make Miami's incoming assets look better for themselves. Who knows, maybe they'll see potential in Ennis considering they may want to dump Dragic for cap space.

Williams would help take away Brewers minutes and create an athletic threat that Harden could throw crazy lobs to in the fast break.

Babbitt can shoot the lights out of the metropolitan area.

For next year trade, houston can consider to buy new york jennings, i think he still can play 20 plus in the bench

Hol' em up, swole em up.

    http://heatnation.com/rumors/report-everyone-on-the-miami-heats-roster-is-available-for-trade/

Apparently everyone on the heat is up for grabs. Perhaps this could be the 'fire'sale we have been waiting for.

Swipe left of Goran Dragic. But I would take a Justise Winslow. I have mild interest in Hassan Whiteside after really thinking he's the perfect center for us. Due to other people's concerns for his attitude and Miami apparently willing to cut ties, I have red flags triggering over him. However I do think he would be a great fit in terms of skillset and perhaps a winning culture could bring out his desire to play.

Legitimately Whiteside is one of those talents that pushes you over to a championship. He's a better fit than Boogie, though I think I like Noel more. This is all so sudden, my first reaction is a hesitant 'go for it'.

-Edit- Maybe I'm buying into hype too much, Winslow's stats look terrible. He's only 20 though, so I might still take him for potential but wow he looks like a mess. Hometown boy too.

    Houston: Nerlens Noel

Philly: KJ McDaniels, Chinanu Onuaku, 1sr round pick

Philly gets a player back that performed admirably (and sometimes phenomenally) as a rookie that many felt they sold low on. They also get a backup center to take Noel's spot that's under team control for multiple years, which is beneficial since they are unlikely to match offers for Noel this summer and would lose him for nothing. And they get a first round pick.

Houston gets a rim protector without losing any significant pieces of their core. They get to see how Noel fits the team for the remainder of the year and decide if it's worth it to match offers for him this summer or not. They jettison a late 1st that would be guaranteed a roster spot. This spot can now be used to add a serviceable veteran.

I don't keep up with Miami basketball, didn't know this happened. Man Miami basketball is in a bad place... then again I don't care because the Heatles happened.

What is it called when Brewer shoots a 3 ball? A turnover.

Haha.....what do you call the Rockets offense when Brewer is in the game?

4-on-5.......Brewer might as well try to screen. His defender is there anyway. Kings owner
Joked about having a snowbird and play 4-on-5. Rockets should try it while Brewer is in.
